i am no dr steve. but i will tell you that if you can turn off your water and take the pieces out and take those pieces to a harware store they can give you the means to fix it!

Well to be fair, if something is worn out or broken internally, these fucking companies these days don't sell rebuild kits or a lot of parts. They want you to buy a new one, so your only choice is replacement sometimes.

So since that's what a plumber might have done anyway, he fixed it himself.

interesting tips from credit counselor.

- to try and settle debt, call late in month and late at night. most collectors work on commision and need to reach quota.

- medical debt does not effect credit rating

- credit relief progams are bull shit. if you have to pay someone to fix your credit uou will get screwed. they get lawyers to send letters disputing all the bad credit. a couple weeks later they pull your report and show you it is all clear. few weeks later after disputes are rejected, the stuff comes back on the report. meanwile, you have given these guys $ and your score goes down futher because they pulled your report a number of times.

just thought i'd share that. :wink:
