I was at my aunts 50th birthday surprise party tonight and my father happened to be there. I haven't seen him in about two years and he tells me he just had a child with his girlfriend (who I've never met).

I'm kinda blown away by it, I have a brother, but I'm 28 years older. I want to meet the kid and stuff, but this is gonna be weird.

The Staples-esque aspect of this story forces me to do this:

<object width="425" height="344"><param name="movie" value="http://www.youtube.com/v/vIIBFOePISY&hl=en&fs=1"></param><param name="allowFullScreen" value="true"></param><param name="allowscriptaccess" value="always"></param><embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/vIIBFOePISY&hl=en&fs=1" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowscriptaccess="always" allowfullscreen="true" width="425" height="344"></embed></object>

How's it going to be weird when the kid wont realize its weird till you're fifty

It's going to make taking your brother to a Red Sox game in a few years really uncomfortable

in more ways than one

not exactly a long-lost brother, but a nice find nonetheless.

After my father died about a year and a half ago, my mother told me that there is a pretty good chance that I have a half brother. It seems that Dad fooled around on Mom.

I had a thought for a while of trying to track him down but never followed through on it. Maybe someday.

All kidding aside, this could be a good thing for you if he lets you get to know the kid. If he doesnt, its no loss to you.

I have at least 2 Sisters that are in their 30's and I've never met them, spoken
to them or even seen a picture of them. Probably because I have no desire to.

if you both take up racing cars, it will be just like the story in Speed Racer..

Racer X is a great name for a child.

Awesome news, Mr. Fallon! In a way it's kind of cool having a kid brother that much younger than yourself. Enjoy him.

I'm going to have to side with drusilla on this subject. However shitty some of his movies are, none of them are obscure.

Happy teensy weensy brother find, Fallon!!!

Radio Flyer? and yes, he was in it. had face time.
Not to be confused with American Flyers....a great psyche up film with Kevin Costner..

Wow, that's really crazy but exciting! If you choose to be involved in his life I wish you all the best. I love my half brother and sister like they are fully related, I never think of them as anything less. They are 9 and 10 years younger than me and we get along great.
