OK, so I decided to write XM a complaint letter about their service. Let's get a few other people doing this and see what kind of horribly shitty form letters they send back.

My goal is to actually get a written letter back. Here was my original letter to them.

You have GOT to stop the DJ's from talking so much on the music channels. You decided to just fire every one of the XM DJ's it seems, and put your Sirius channels on in place of XM ones like they were both equal. They were not. I do not want to hear the 80's and 90's channels with long winded DJ's. I want music. Please change this, it's bad enough you made me pay for online listening that pops and skips, the least you can do is give me music insead of DJ jabbering. I don't want FM radio on my satellite, it's satellite. I want music. The quality of your service has gone downhill since the merger, big time.

Here is what I got back:

Dear Mr. Handsome Subscriber,

Thank you for contacting XM.

We are really sorry to hear that you are unhappy with the DJ’s constant talking. We do appreciate all of our subscriber’s comments and suggestions and we understand your concern in this matter, we have also gone ahead and forward your comments onto our Programming Department. Once again, we sincerely apologize for any inconvenience caused.

If we can be of further assistance, please feel free to send an additional email or you may contact a Listener Care Representative directly at 1-800-XM RADIO (800-967-2346). Our Listener Care Centers hours of operation are as follows:

Monday Saturday: 8AM 11PM EST
Sunday: 8AM 8PM EST
Thank you,
Okeliah

I'm not even suggesting we focus on one thing, just have some fun with their complaint department. I'm not saying prank them, there's PLENTY of people on here who have real problems with the company and the quality of the service. Write them about it.

There's a contact us area on the site, probably accesible from your account area. You'll need your account name or radio ID to actually be able to send them a complaint.

Have at it!

Dear XM,

You have an "X" in your name, but there's no porn on your service anywhere.

What gives?

Sincerely,
