Agreed. Anything fruity flavored, that you have to "sip" when drinking and has some sort of garnish gadgetry on the glass is dumb.

If you're gonna order a drink at a bar that you need to sip, man up and get some whiskey, or bourbon straight, chilled or on the rocks.

Briefly, while on the subject of awful drinks and the glassware they are served in. If you ever walk into a bar and see one of those group drinks that looks like a goldfish bowl on top of a pedestal w/ some sort of punch red looking drink with 8 straws and fruit in it.

Turn around and walk out.

The main reason I don't drink mixed drinks is because I only really drink to get drunk. A mixed drink is usually "mixed" by definition and that means it takes longer for me to get drunk.

So when I want to get drunk I drink whiskey straight out of the bottle and that's that.
