My other Betta fish died

I had another betta fish that has lived far far longer than any fish I ever had before and it died last night. I noticed for a week or so he has been acting funny, staying at the bottom of the tank. I had him for at least 3 years. Usually they last a year.
I will miss him. Now I have to clean his tank and will get a new one. The other one I talked about recently was one I got for work. This one was the one I have at home. I feel sad.

Aww I'm sorry blackbird.. I know it's difficult now, but remember all the good times you had with Mr. Betta fish: like the time you took him to the park and held him in your hands and went down the slide, those are the memories to cherish.

I had a goldfish when I was 7. I loved that goldfish, but I was young and stupid. I use to take him out of his bowl every day and play with him, one day I took him out to long and he went belly up when I tossed him back into his water. I murdered him. :glurps:

We had a pet bird when I was young. It was out of its cage when my sister opened the outside door and it flew out. Only pet I ever had. I think it is the basis for my commitment issues.

I got my betta from the centerpiece at a wedding. the fish lasted twice as long as the marriage. then he somersaulted out of the bowl and directly down the trash compactor in the sink. i have been inconsolable.

I got a new one last night. He is brownish with pinkish orange fins. He is cool looking. I named him Jack
