Snails' bodies produce a thick slime. Because of this slime, they can crawl across the edge of a razor and not get hurt.

The fastest snails are the speckled garden snails which can move up to 55 yards per hour compared 23 inches per hour of most other land snails.

The word \"testis\" comes from the Latin meaning to bear witness.

In ancient Rome, only men could bear witness or testify in a public forum.

In order to show importance to their testimony, they would hold their testicles as they spoke, and an oath was declared while holding another\'s testicles.

It is common mistake to say that The Great wall of China is visible from outer space. It is too thin to be noticed from such a great distance.

Only two man made structures visible from space are:

The Pyramids of Giza and the Hoover Dam.

Sirius XM probably wants to squeeze as much money as they can out of people with the Best Of packages. I thought that it was bullshit to charge more and that all in house content that doesn't rely on outside providers (like MLB, etc.) should be available on both services for no additional charge.

Do me a wrong, youre a bringer of evil
The devil is never a maker
The less that you give, youre a taker
So its on and on and on, its heaven and hell, oh well

The lover of lifes not a sinner
The ending is just a beginner
The closer you get to the meaning
The sooner youll know that youre dreaming
So its on and on and on, oh its on and on and on

SHWA25GUNNER
05-13-2009, 10:06 AM
another good Jesus song, "Jesus, the Missing Years," by John Prine:

a sample:

Wine was flowing so were beers
So jesus found his missing years
So he went to a dance
and said this dont move me
He hiked up his pants and he went to a movie

On his thirteenth birthday he saw rebel without a cause
He went straight on home and invented santa claus
Who gave him a gift and he responded in kind
He gave the gift of love and went out of his mind

You see him and the wife wasnt getting along
So he took out his guitar and he wrote a song
Called the dove of love fell off the perch
But he couldnt get divorced in the catholic church

At least not back then anyhow
Jesus was a good guy he didnt need this shit
So he took a pill with a bag of peanuts and
A coca-cola and he swallowed it.

He discovered the beatles
And he recorded with the stones
Once he even opened up a three-way package
In southern california for old george jones

agreed one million percent.
after watching it in italian with the titles, i tried to watch it with the dubbing and i didn't last 5 minutes... it was too ridiculous.

originally, schindler's list was going to be in the native languages and subtitled... but they thought that the reading might take the viewer out of the experience of the film... so they opted to do the majority of the movie in english.
