We don't know when it will end, but we all know HOW it will end...
A drunken triple-murder suicide.
And anybody involved could be the perpetrator.

For those of you who liked The Stand, check out Swan Song by Robert R. McCammon. Some people thought McCammon was King writing under another pseudonym.
Playing guitar?
HOW CAN YOU SCREW UP THAT LYRIC?

I was given The Stand as a present when I was 13. I was a reading fiend by then but the book intimidated me due to it's size. So it sat on my book shelf until I was 14. I started reading it and couldn't put it down. I faked a cold to stay home from school so I could finish it. One of the best books I have ever read to this day and I read it once a year just because. The scene where Tom and Stu are on the ridge makes me cry like a baby every time.

The Shining for me
OMG Joey I just read it for the first time, last month. I had seen the movie a 100 times but I hadn't read the book. I tore through it last month in a day and man. I was so mad at Stanley Kubrick because the death of Dick Halloran never made a bit of sense to me in the movie... then I was reading the book and he didn't die and I totally understand why King had such a beef with the movie Kubrick made. I love The Shining and really can't wait to read it again.
King is such a great writer, sometimes picking up one of his books is like slipping on some really comfortable slippers.
