Yeah, I know this completes the goofy reading and writing triology of threads, but it also happens to be true and it embarrasses me to no end. I always sucked at math since as long as I could remember. I just barely got by. I was the only person I know who scored higher on my English portion of the SAT than the Math. Once in college I left math courses behind me and forgot what little I knew.

Splitting checks and figuring out tips is a living hell so I'll always just throw in way more than I owe and people think I'm some kind of big-shot or something. It gets really pathetic when my daughter asks me to check her second grade math homework and I have to excuse myself while I leave the room to secretly check her work on a calculator. Fuck it! If the Good Lord had meant us to solve math problems he wouldn't have given us calculators.

I've always been bad at math and I'm dyslexic with numbers. I switch them all the time and it sucks. You see 69, I see 96.

I'm like Rain Man. I can estimate and count really well. Sometimes I just do it for fun. Math is the best

Now you know two. Me.

You see 69, I see 96.

That could make for an awkward moment.

I'm a mathematical genius.

Brilliant in English to boot.

Come to think of it, there's really nothing I don't do well.

It really did.

I scored 100 points higher in verbal as well. Now there's 3.

I'll tell what I do know:

I do know that I love you,
And I know that if you love me too,
What a wonderful world this would be.

Please, all of you, on this perfect Friday evening in May, sing this song to your someone special tonight, then make the sweet love, and think of me while you do.

The introduction of calculators in the 7th grade pretty much clinched the actual learning for me. I'm gonna love the GRE's.
