Both sound equally appealing...on one hand, go out, mingle, possibly ride what comes of that all night...on the other hand, nice weather, nice cigar, bottle of good liquor, peace and quiet to ponder the mysteries of the universe.

What should I do great Oracle??

Not enough time...I'm smoking a cigar now on the porch, but I'm not cracking the Bushmills until I make a decision. If I go out, I'm likely out all night, so showing up half hammered wouldn't do well for being able to handle a long night.

in my old agedness, i have discovered that i enjoy a nice night and a couple of cocktails on my front porch while watching the stars and typing on the interwebs a lot more than a crowded bar or club filled with people i don't really care to mingle with.

i still have a lot of good times out with friends... but sometimes tranquility is more enjoyable than a night of drunken shenanigans.
