had my nails done once with a french manicure look and not too long, even that was too much for me, my nails are short and natural, sometimes polish...especially when gardening I prefer them without any polish
Maybe it's me, but I HATE acrylic nails, silk wraps or any kind of fake nail. I just don't understand the point in spending $75 and up to get your nails to look like this.

I get solar nails (not as thick or fake looking as acrylic) and I don't need tips so the powder just goes right on top. I only get the classic french style and I keep them as short as you can having nails. I like it, they almost never get in my way and I think they look nice. When I tried having regular nails they would break and tear all the time.
