people who can't spell correctly. Namely adults who can't spell correctly. I just got on the board a few minutes ago and (not to pick on anyone) I notice someone spelled catty as "caddy", and someone spelled wear as "where". I don't know why this bothers me so. I try not to judge and I understand people make mistakes but I see this kind of thing all too often.

Thaaaaank Yoooou!!!!

lol, you fail sir! You used the contraction of "it is", as opposed to the possessive word, "its".

Good for you? I really don't care as long as I can understand what they meant to say, at least on a message board.

any time i get an email from a boss with poor spelling or grammar (there/their/they're, it's/its, to/too, etc.), it makes me question their intelligence and wonder how they got to where they are in the company.

Calling someone out on spelling errors is a weak minded attempt to one up someone.

Spelling errors typically bother me too, but not on message boards. I try my hardest to spell correctly.

You know what I can't stand? People who can't follow 2 step directions. That is a prerequisite for Kindergarten, yet I know many adults that can't/won't follow directions. Yeah, I am ornery tonight.

Only problem is, the Firefox one SUCKS! It's constantly saying I spell something wrong when I don't.

there's some shitty company running ads on xm and the pad data always says "your covered" instead of "you're covered" and it's infuriating.

i think it's the best when posters like walker point out "keystroke errors" of other posters when he has them in his own posts.

i really can't stand misspellings in any news articles i read, either being in print or online. it bugs the shit out of me.

I can't stand it when news casters mispronounce a name. It is their job to read the news, and it isn't like they do not have the time to learn how to pronounce them. Local sportscasters are the ones that make me the most angry. They are on air for like 20 minutes per day, they can''t find the time to get a correct pronunciation?
