The Softball game....who is bringing what???

With the event less then two weeks away we need to figure out who is bringing what?

I know I am bringing the Grill (as usual) along with grilling supplies as well as a table or two...plus some chairs.
Also bringing napkins, cups and forks and spoons and such.
Some hamburgers and hot dogs. But not alot...maybe a package of 8 each.

For the game I have a few softballs and one or two bats.

And before anyone asks I know Earlshog is bringing the majority of equipment for us to use (bases, balls and such) but if someone has a bat or two they can bring it would be appreciated.

remember it's BYOB since we have the liquor license.

just an idea, make a list of what is needed.. then people feel more compelled to sign up for things... if I wasn't so broke I would even send you guys some money for liquor and food... just to contribute to the fun I won't have... (while enjoying the same on my mom's pocket over here...hehe)

Katja that is very kind of you, but there is NO reason to pay for something you won't be attending. Again, it shows how sweet you are.

IN about 5 days we will tally up who said they would bring what and then we would know what we lack in.

and no, it's not about being sweet, but just a bunch of people I really enjoy hanging out with and would love to buy a drink if I was there... but I know it is not necessary.

we have the following items being brought

Earlshog: softball equipment and some gloves
Dino_ : burgers (bring about 25-30 at least)
Cruel circus: sausage and peppers
marc : soda and maybe some chicken wings
Justice: grill, tables, picnic equipment (forks, knives, spoons and wet naps for Gvac). Also bringing a large tub to put ice and drinks into...we'll bring a cooler for the ice we will use to put IN the glasses (if neeeded) and some of funk's keilbasa.

We still need more food, chips and such. soda and gatorade (or the like) and water. ALOT of water if it's going to be hot out.

if someone could bring another cooler that would be good.

It would appear that, according to weather.com, it might be rained out again...I will keep on top of the weather reports but if it gets rained out we will have it on either sept. 19th or sept. 26th. I will check rain date availability with the parks dept. on Thursday. I will make a thread about which day would work best as a rain date.

the teams will be picked by yours truly and whoever else wants to step up to be the opposing team's captain.

the game will be held at noon at echo lake park in cranford, nj just a minute or two off of route 22, close to union. look for a bunch of cars with WOW and Ron & Fez bumper stickers. there should be another thread for directions

i will be bringing the grill, several tables, some chairs, benches (fairly small -will seat two people at most), some grilling supplies, plates, napkins, etc. and, of course, a cooler with ice and beer for my girlfriend the lush :drunk:.

is anyone planning on bringing BURGERS? BUNS? FOOD? so far it sounds like an all beer event and nothing to cook on the grill.

(oh yes, and a few bucks too to help pay for the field rental would be most appreciatedl).

Once again, thank you so much for the effort. If it weren't for you securing the field,(again!) we'd be playing in the parking lot behind Tommy Fox's.
As I have mentioned, I'll bring what I can. I am pulling out all of the stops just to make it to this game!
