i'm addicted to "made-for-tv" movies

i <3 them. my wife cant stand them.
i dont know what it is about it... the sub-par b-list acting, the terrible story line, or high-school quality graphics (set design, cgi, wardrobe, etc).

last one i saw was last nite's "meteor" on chan 4. basically, armaggeddon redone, this time with george costanza (jason alexander) in charge of saving the world. ::eyeroll::

sci-fi aka SYFY (ghey) usually has the cream of the crop of these.

I haven't watched one in a long time because of all the other media choices around now but I used to love them. I'll still stop on a cheesy movie if I'm flipping. It usually ends up being a ridiculous Lifetime Original about spousal abuse or rape. They have a very addictive quality, almost like you can't stop watching it because you think, "how can anything really be this bad."

i watched Meteor last night, too. pretty miserable, but fun to watch.

i was expecting Christopher Lloyd to get hit by a meteor, so it was actually surprising when he got run over by a van.

i got kinda pissed off when i realized the movie wasn't gonna end at 11pm, and there were 2 more hours left next sunday, but i'll be watching.

like you said, George Costanza in charge of saving the world. how can you go wrong with that??

p.s. Jason Alexander should legally change his name to George Costanza.
