Dear Oracle. I have two acquaintances. To protect their identities I will refer to them as rreader and ShopVac. I've just learned that they text each other constantly during the day, every day. Is that normal? For two men to have such a text-heavy relationship, texting each other more than they speak to family members and significant others, is that gay?

Also, could those thumb blisters they get from constant texting be considered an STD?
