It's a tough call.

I can see both their points of view. Shane wants to protect Lori and Carl and the baby, but for the wrong reasons.... AND he doesn't give a shit about anyone else. He's delusional. Which is why I loved Lori's turn on him. She wants him dead to protect her family.

And Rick's standoff with Shane was great.... but Shane still doesn't get it. He's going off the deep end.

And it was Shane who almost got them killed by throwing that big wrench through the window. Yea, it was Rick's plan to drive them out there, but I see he's still trying to hold on to a little human compassion.

Which is what you'll also need to survive. Lori and Andrea's conversation in the kitchen about Maggie's sister. How she'll grow up... get a boyfriend... the way she said that let us know that she probably won't with no one around. Is a hellish life with no hope worth living? Gotta have a little hope.

I think they shouldn't execute the kid, as he , at the time, was only shooting at someone who had killed a few of HIS group at the time. At this point, it's all about survival . You protect yourself and the group you're with .All the kid knew at the time was that a bunch of guys had killed two of his group(even if they were assholes) and he was shooting back. Not a good reason to execute someone , even if they DO know where you're staying.And the farm is pretty defensible . with the rifles/scopes they have . So unless they're worried that the kid belongs to some Navy Seal team, what;s the reason to kill him? Better to sweat him for info.

I dont see it that way. I dont see killing an innocent kid as protecting anything. I see Shane as the one that put them in danger by firing the gun and breaking the window. At this point youd think hed realize the importance of silence.

Personally I dont see the reason for killing anyone unless they are dangerous to you. And I dont see how a guy that can barely walk, whos life you saved, is considered a real threat. I mean, his friends left him to be eaten, why stay loyal to them?

His argument that executing the prisoner destroys their humanity is dumb. The fact that they even discussed it (called a meeting, let people weigh in, tried to reach consensus) preserves their humanity IMO. Its a tough decision. Not a blood thirsty mob executing a guy for no reason. Its self defense.

At this point I hope everyone on the show dies a horrible death. Except T-Dogg.

What disturbed me about Dale is that he was the voice of reason, as whiny as he had become. And that stupid hat. Even so, he death was extra brutal as he just had that morality speech about our humanity in front of the group. No one was with him. Then he dies in front of that group, in pain, with a shot to the head while he is wide-eyed and awake.

It was brutal. But I also think the show has really picked up these last few shows that Darabont had nothing to do with... I think the new writers and producers have listened to all the complaints and they're dealing with them, and it's for the better. I think the show is just going to get more darker and twisted from here on out.

I would like it if Carl was wearing Dale's hat next week.

I think the kid turned because he was locked in that barn where they had kept all those drooling fucking walkers for so long, and he had open wounds from trying to get out of the cuffs. Shame must have infected himself after killing the guy, probably because he touched the guy, then after he busted his own face open he was rubbing the wound. Either way the virus seems to be faster and more aggressive. Just an opinion.

Everyone is infected. Dying is what turns them into zombies, not the bites itself. What the bite does is release venom into the system which goes thru the bloodstream and kills you fast.

Im kind of annoyed they had Carl kill Shane as a walker rather then as a man like he did in the comics. To me that wouldve been much more brutal. Felt like they sanitized it a little for TV and I hate when they do shit like that.

Also, if this is spoiling it for anyone tough shit. The episode has been over for 2 hours now. Like Stan said, you shouldnt be in here if you havent seen it yet.

It makes no sense...im watching the replay again...what was the point of lori going to talk to shane while he was working on the windmill? She sucks. 2 weeks ago she pretty much said she wanted shane dead, now she tells him he might be the fayher of her child. I can only hope Carl turns zombie while she isnt fucking watching him as usual, and she doesnt notice because hes wearing a giant hat, and he kills her

on a serious note though, that was a great episode. I really loved the way it was filmed and two scenes in general looked really great. The first was when Rick visits his son in the barn and its just the two of them silhouetted. Also, Rick and Shane's showdown on the hill with the moonlight and everything just looked awesome. I don't read the graphic novel, but I don't really have to in order to assume that those two shots were pretty iconic images from the books.

The only thing I thought was weird is that they did all that walking through the woods, but still wound up only about 100 yards from the house? Little weird, but I'm not going to get picky. That episode was crazy good.
