Quit in 2000 after spewing some blood into a sink after a lovely evening with a pack of reds.

Then met a girl and we went to a hookah lounge. Figured it was cute, so went along and tried it out. It was fun.

Been going there wit' her alot lately. And now feeling familiar old cravings. Feels stupid I'm breaking my smokers' lent on some device that looks like it could be a droid in star wars.

do hookah's even have nicotine? shouldn't be anything there to get you started again. like saying you had some candy cigs and they made you want to start again.

If you are smoking tobacco, then there is nicotine present. There is no such thing as nicotine free tobacco. That's why you smoke it, for the nicotine.

just did some quick research and there is a common fruity tobacco substitute called maasel (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maasel) which would be nicotine free. that's the nonsense the people i know who frequent hookah joints smoke.

I quit years ago, after it sent me to the hospital from my athsma. It was not that hard.

2 times a year I treat myself to a pack of Camel regulars, usually when out on a really hard drinking binge.

There is a place by me called the Hookah Lounge, and I honestly though it was slang for "hooker".
