no, not skidmark idoling outside a middle school in a white van with a fun-dip, but the comedy central tv show from a couple years back.
i loved this show. (and not just because it was the best job i ever had) i really thought the show was fantasic. it had its typical comedy central 3 year run and then they cancelled us.
just curious if there were any other fans out there.

That was a spinoff, I think, of the upright citizens brigade...

it wasn't a spinoff of UCB, it had none of the same people but all in all it was a fucking hysterical, sick show that I watched every week. The Principal, her father, Mr. Jellineck, and Stephen Colbert genius extending to another half hour.
My favorite episode was the one where I think the plot was someone was insane and there's this hysterical scene where the insane guy throws a pizza in Stephen Colbert's face-- you had to watch it. But yes, it was a fucking fantastic show

Sketchy, you worked on the show?
I was a big fan too. It was a great show, and I wished they still aired it in repeats. One of my favorite eps was when Jellineck got his face ripped off.

I liked how Jellineck & Stephen Colbert had the taboo friendship.

I love this show as well. Oddly enough, as I was just reading this thread, an episode started. So for future reference, 3 AM, Comedy Central, Sunday nights. Good thing I managed to sit through an episode of the truly awful Chris Wylde Show or I would have missed it.

Now come on, you don't like the Chris Wylde Show where he came in drunk thinking it was Thanksgiving. He does kinda try too hard though.

I hate to ruin the love fest here, but I absolutely despised that show and found in unwatchable. You people are weird.

I didn't like the Chris Wylde show either. I believe the reasoning behind giving him a show was: "Hey, Strip Mall really sucks...let's give this guy a show!"
As for Strangers with Candy, I loved it...I will always laugh when I hear the conversation between Stephen Colbert and Jerri after her father's death...
"It's alright Jerri, everyone's lost their father at one point in their life..."
"You mean you lost your daddy, too?"
"NO! DON'T EVEN SAY THAT! MY DADDY WILL NEVER DIE! ::points angrily skyward:: DO YOU HEAR ME GOD?!?!?"
