I've only been listening for a last few years, so I don't know the show before ESD. But 80% of the time, I think he adds to the show, instead of taking away from it. Until Fezzie decided to return about 6 months ago, ESD played a very important role. I could use a little less of that laughing/screaming/yelling, personally.....Cuts threw me like glass.
