I was listening to Howard this morning and Artie took a cheap shot at Ron & Fez.

It was during the Bill Hinkley article about Howard. "Since Howard's left terrestrial...blah, blah, blah...these reporters have know other personalities to write about", and then Artie chimes in (sarcastically) "they could write about Ron & Fez".

R&F are pretty good about not ripping into other shows and stay out of the O&A and Howard thing, but that Artie is a freakin asshole.

I would guess it was a "ball Busting" like Artie likes to do and no real malice behind it. Artie has a connection to lil Jimmy, I saw that dvd "meet the creeps" and he was in it with Artie. Jimmy's tweet from a couple of days ago also had him at stuttering johns house for a barbecue!

This whole radio war thing,to me, is just a bit from the old days to churn up ratings and get press. These guys all know each other, and with Ron's comedy club background I doubt Artie has a beef with him. I think Artie just likes the way "the Ron and Fez show" rolls off his tongue.

Yup. It just seems to be a name that was somewhat memorable to him and they've been brought up by Artie in a similar manner in the past.

Once when discussing Richard and Sal's stunts he was talking about his disgust with them and said "that's Bubba...that's every other jerkoff in radio." But he's good friends with the guys and has stopped into their studio in Tampa a few times.

i already knew it doesn't matter, but ronnie's the one who put into perspective how listening to the opinions of others doesn't even make sense. like when people were making a big deal about letterman finally beating the tonight show in the ratings after conan took over as if the content of the show and the reason who people would watch one over the other is irrelevant. as if the sheer number of hay seeds out there are going to change my opinion of good comedic style
