It is somewhat newsworthy. The obvious hypocracy of the "conservatives" is too easy to comment on anymore. But the real story is the fact that this dude wont be getting anything from the chick when he loses his seat because she was a lobbyist! Yes, a lobbyist, in California, for an energy company.
