Do ya use them?

I think they're only for decoration, but I've seen people use them for glasses, wallets, even keys. Boo on them.

If I have nowhere else to put it. So I voted "maybe so".

But I'm guessing I should have voted "yes".

I stink.

Holy crap!!

I didn't know you could do that!

Is this because Mikeyboy is no longer in control?

I feel so empowered.

Perfect for a pack of smokes.

I am talking a flannel or a t-shirt at work.
I don't wear pocketed shirts otherwise,
so I just roll my pack up in my sleeve like a good greaser.

If I have something to do, like vaccum or something, I'll try to put on a T-shirt with a front pocket to put my iPod in. Easily lets you switch songs through the pocket.

Understandable, your future is so bright you have to wear shades.

I only buy shirts that have a pocket (other than t shirts). If there was no pocket on my shirt, it would irritate me. Its too damn handy. I slip my cell in there, or my keys or a pen, my badge at work.

just for a pen... maybe a business card or something.

I try to avoid buying or wearing shirts with front chest pockets.
So no, I definitely don't use them.

Most of my work shirts are dress shirts and have front pockets. I will temporarily stick a pen or pad of sticky notes in there while at my desk, but definitely not go around all day or to meetings with stuff in there, looks too nerdy. However, here is a side question, if you have a really nice pen like a mont blanc, is that not more like a dude accessory to be seen, kinda like a chick wearing a nice necklace? I have a nice pen but don't "wear" it to be seen.

I love shirt pockets...especially those columbia and ExOfficio shirts with all of the pockets. I have room for all my little notes: grocery shopping lists, guys phone numbers, work schedule, that kind of thing. I also like to put sippy cups, pacifiers, wet wipes, keys, toys, etc in the pockets. I must look like a freakin weirdo.

When I am camping, I put a small bottle of captain, diet coke, and lime in the pockets and then go for a walk.

I have nicotine gum in mine right now.

It's a work shirt, I generally wouldn't wear a shirt with a pocket outside of work.

that shirt rocks! I usually also have on some kind of short/capris/pants with a million side pockets where I house my checkbook, keys, and cell phone. I am surprised I have never been accused of stealing while out shopping.

Most of my work button downs don't have pockets - which doesn't stop me from looking to my left breast pocket area for my work pass. For the ones that do have pockets, nothing more than a passcard or business card goes in there.

For the record - button downs + short sleeves = pedo.

yes, and they sell purses for men

I only really use it to put my building badge in there so it's not flopping around whenever I leave the building.

maybe so. i will use them for small, flat items - cards, tickets, etc that i don't want getting lost/crushed in a bigger pocket.
