Its been noted that the posts are bizarre and pointless and predictable. I'm not trying to be a 'shock poster' but it seems as if I am being perceived as such. Should I stop posting here? Would I be missed? If I hung it up, would it bother anyone or would it make the board a better place?

No need to be all melodramatic about it. Just make fewer shitty threads.

Maybe think for 2 seconds before starting one about whether it's on a subject that's actually interesting to discuss, or funny, or whatever, as opposed to mundane, banal, disgusting, or not worth the time spent typing a response,Or if there's no possible response, it's just some dumb story from your day.

Maybe there can be a "dumb story from my day" thread or something.

And those inane questions can go into random questions. That is to say, not every thought warrants an entire thread.
