Whee, Marge Simpson is gonna be in the upcoming November issue of Playboy. Great, like I haven't already seen her naked a million times in those racy cartoon pop-ups that I got from that sketchy hentai porn site came pre-installed on my computer.

Playboy said the cover and a three-page picture spread inside was a celebration of the 20th anniversary of the "The Simpsons" and part of a plan to appeal to a younger generation of readers.

Scott Flanders (IRONIC!), the recently-hired chief executive of Playboy Enterprises, told the Chicago Sun-Times in an interview that the Marge Simpson cover and centerfold was "somewhat tongue-in-cheek."

"It had never been done, and we thought it would be kind of hip, cool and unusual," Flanders told the newspaper. He said the magazine hoped to attract readers in their 20s compared to the average Playboy reader's age of 35.

Right, "hip, cool and unusual". Listen, Playboy, this guy sucks. You want somebody to help you appeal to a younger, more influential demographic, I'm your man. And by man I mean huckleberry. You're no Daisy -- you're not Daisy at all! Wow, that just took on an all new, much sadder meaning.

When I was 18 I had to get a DOT physical. It was my first one and the guys at my work told me that I was gonna get the finger up the ass.

I had to run in place for 2 minutes and get my heart rate checked. After that the doctor (woman) told me to drop my pants and underwear. She turned around to put the gloves on and I dropped my drawers and turned around.

Doc said, "Whoa! I'm not going to do that, unless you want me to. I just need you to turn your head and cough."

I disagree with Moe's assessment of Fez.

Fez is not asking anyone to try and understand and find validity in the way he feels. He doesn't even understand how he feels. Instead he is attacking anyone who feels differently from himself for not understanding something that is incomprehensible in the same way.

Stephen Baldwin experiences his faith in his own way, and if you want he'll explain it to you in the hopes that it will make sense to you. Fez cant comprehend anyone having a different experiance than himself.

Stephen Baldwin experiences his faith in his own way, and if you want he'll explain it to you in the hopes that it will make sense to you. Fez cant comprehend anyone having a different experiance than himself.

Fez is just asking Steven to exist by these new, horrible little rules these new age Christians have now. All of them walking around repeating mantras back and forth to each other like "Well when God closes one door he opens a window for you" or "I've been praying about that."

None of these assholes take personal responsibility for their actions, they "turn their lives over to the Lord." They pray about things. They let their man in the sky provide for them. They say grace and thank the Lord for this bountiful feast which was actually made by the sweat of some farmer's brow.

Fez's point is why would Steven's God allow him to fall into big trouble if Steven is supposedly following his God's will. I think, as Ron said, no religion has any idea what God or our lives here are supposed to be like, so even if there IS a God, you're not following his way.

Fez does judge people unfairly from time to time but on this one he's spot on.

I feel sorry for Fez. I was a shy kid and people talked to me like Ron is talking to Fez. I hated when people would say "you need to be more outgoing" etc. I completely get Fez's response. there is no denying Ron is right but Fez can't just magically change himself. Of course, Fez knows it would be better to enjoy his life, have curiosity and joy, etc. it's not information or knowledge Fez needs. Ron is acting like he can change Fez's mind and then he will suddenly appreciate the miracle of life.

Steven Baldwin sounds to me like he takes a tremendous ammount of personal responsibility for the events of his life. His admits bankruptcy was the result of poor decisions he made, and now he is obviously dealing with it. He doesn't expect God to talk to the bank, or hire him a new accountant. He's an addict and despite being 'born again' out of his old life he still goes to meetings, because as an addict he understands he needs to maintain his sobreity even now.

Fez cant ask Steven Baldwin to answer for religious people who use their churches to stupify themselves to the facts of life. Fez can only ask Steven Baldwin about Steven Baldwin, or for Steven Baldwins opinion. What Fez is really doing is asking for Steven Baldwin for Fez's opinion, which isn't even about any kind of religious understanding its about his unresolved parent issues.

The notion that to understand god you need to completely surrender your free will is poorly understood by a lot of people, who are both for and against the idea. It is a very old idea based in ideas like the knowledge of god is so incomprehensible the only way to even begin to approach it is to tap into the innate part of yourself that is connected to him. Any vestige of humanity in you prevents this process, because your humanity cannot understand god, so you need to disconnect from it. Or because Gods motives are so incomprehensible you need to trust that they are in your best interest, even when they seem not to be, and it would deny your ability to access that supreme benevolence if you question it.

Do you think there is anything in Steven Baldwins life where he would say it was just him getting fucked over? I'll bet he looks at every failure as a gift to teach him humility, or to appreciate how much his faith can buouy him, or a life learning experience. So I dont see how, with an attitude like that, you could argue with them that the god they believe in has not taken care of them. They value something way different, and Fez wants to yell at them for not valuing the same things that he does.

I'm 37. So he wasn't really an explorer in my life time, although I certainly know who he is and what he did. But mexi's probably scratching his head wondering what you're talking about.

The present day Columbuses or John Glenns aren't famous. The current day explorers are different types of explorers that aren't getting the publicity that a John Glenn or Columbus got from their nations.

So, no I don't have one. But I stand by my point that John Glenn's achievements aren't present day.

No, not political explorers. There are still space explorers, but there are also deep sea explorers.

Plus, you have explorers whose lives aren't in danger, but are exploring scientific concepts, whether it's in quantum physics or areas of unknown knowledge.
