The only good thing about NJ are the rest stops that have Roy Rogers. Other then that, it stinks.

stuck in the middle.

I'll go with Long Island, but only because it's an island.

You mainlanders wouldn't understand.

I like that most people only know Newark Airport and the area along the Hudson River across from NYC when it comes to New Jersey. The rest of the state is gorgeous, but it's a well kept secret.

Keeps the Long Island trash out of here.

Well, all I know of Long Island is the Long Island Expressway and Uniondale, so it comes out about even.

I hate gum chewin' chicks in halfshirts with their muffintops and their crispy bangs and annoying accents who lie and say they're from NYC.

So.... it's a draw.

Having said that, Long Island has better Pizza and bagels. Long Island = WIN.

I gotta go with NJ.

More in common with that state than that shit hole filled with fuck asses of Long Island.

long island alll the way queens and brooklyn are on the island. we can drive to and from queens and brooklyn without a tunnel or bridge. so theres really no contest. fucking jersey trash

What kind of maniac would choose to live on an island in the Atlantic Ocean where the only way in and out is to drive through the busiest city on the planet?

I rest my case.

I have experienced the best of both.
The gems that are Jersey's hidden beaches. The gorgeous mountain areas. The Pine Barrens. Breathtaking.

I also love The Hamptons. There are some amazing beach and dune areas. From East Hampton down to Montauk is exquisite. The North Fork is also beautiful country. I recommend you check it out for fresh produce and quaint wineries.

the only bad parts of new jersey
are the ones that border on, or near, new york city (including staten island)...
or the parts that border on, or near, philadelphia...

it's the spillover area that's infested...
they brought their evil ways with them...

psst... you can always tell a transplanted new yorker...
they call it 'jersey'... i've never known anyone from here
that's not always say they are from 'new jersey, or called it 'new jersey'...

(and jersey devil & jersey girl don't count.. poetic license)

there are more bad parts in jersey than there are on long island. and when it gets bad in nj, it's fucking scary.

A friend of mine married a 300 pound Long Island high-school graduate genius who says "Jersey". I mentioned to her that people from New Jersey say "New Jersey". Her response was that I'm wrong.

My friend is a lucky man (she also quit her job after they got married).

I grew up in Jersey. Lived there from birth until just a few years ago. Although it has it's nice places I'd
never go back. Way too expensive and much too much congestion for what you get in return, which isn't much.
