My doctor shoved 3 fingers up my ass!

I had a physical today and my usual doctor has been MIA the past 2 times I went, and he shares his practice with a few other doctors. The doctor who has been looking after me is a woman, and I never really had a woman doctor before. Shes nice and all, and I figured she'd be gentile.
But she gives me the physical which includes a prostate exam. I have had this before and know that the doctor will insert their fingers into your ass and twist around a little. Every other time I had this done, the doctor will let you know, which she did, and have you lay o your side and bend your knees so they have access to your ass. She did this. Every other doctor at that point tells you again whats about to happen, and they assure you again and tell you you'll feel "pressure". This she did NOT do. Instead, she suddenly thrust at least 3 fingers into my ass and twisted hard and I saw fucking stars! I actually (no lie), took a swing at her to attempt to bat her hand away, which she ducked. The exam was done and she pulled out and I was absolutley aching and throbbing. I felt she did not do it well, but she said everything was okay, no blood or unusual prostate issues.
I said I was sorry for swinging at her, and she said it was okay, it happens, yada yada.

Now, Dr Steve, is the procedure to the mini prep prior to such an exam typical? Should I have said anything to her about it? She must have known she hurt me, because she offered me time to collect myself and rest and get me cold water to drink. I must say I never felt it happen like that and I really hope next time it does not happen. I know that if next year I have an exam and she will be doing it, that I will say something before hand or find a different doctor. This was at 4PM today and its almost 8PM now and my ass still hurts!

Dude, I've never heard a story like that. I've never had anyone swing at me when I was doing a prostate exam on them (although i do have wonderfully long and slender fingers). Also, it's very unusual to have pain lasting 4 hours after a prostate exam.

Having said that, any number of things could have happened, from too little lube to a sharp fingernail; things that may never happen again if you returned to her.

If you like your doctor otherwise, I'd just make sure you tell her next time she's poised to do a prostate exam that last time it really really hurt and could she please try to avoid that again this time. Most docs are cool that way. If it still kills you next time, you might consider finding someone else to stick their finger up your ass. I'll be looking for volunteers on Nov 6th on O&A if the lawyers won't approve the bit I have planned.

The way she did it with no real warning and the suddenness of her quick insertion is what I think did it. I clenched up from it as she was jamming them in and that probably added to my pain. I did have that pain for hours and even the next day a little. Next time I will ask her to be gentile. I didn't really try and connect with her, but swung my arm as if to bat her away. Either way, I didn't hit her. I can tell she knew she didn't do it the best way.
