Finally back in this thread. Drinking til 3:30 is rough when you got work in the morning.

Heres what I took away from Game 2...

- Pedro pitched as well as I said he would, but once again got no run support

- There were blown calls for both teams that pretty much evened out the game, but man the strike zone was wide

- Charlie Manuel has to get over this fear of sending the runners. Especially when its the 2 fastest guys on the team.

- Phillies should be stealing all over Posada. That Ichabod Crane looking mother fucker couldnt throw me out

- Uncle Chollie did say something I loved when he said "We can hit Rivera. Theres not a closer in this league we cant hit."

- I think Girardi is scared to death to have to use anyone in his bullpen besides Mo.

Good series so far.

I don't like when Rivera is brought in for 2inn. Most of his playoff blown saves have come when he has gone two innings.

And now at his advanced age, i do not think its a good. I can understand that Joe does not trust anyone else in that pen. But when AJ is dealing like that, you at least start the 8th with him, especially with the bottom order up. We got very lucky on the Utley DP.

Oh i agree 100percent. I was shocked that he did not start the runners there. With Molina i could understand, but Posada has a terrible arm. Two fast runners like Rollins and Victerino, u gotta start them. Its like when Torre did not once steal on Wakefield and Veritek in 04.
