Instead of Lean Forward their new slogan should be Honk if you've been apologized to by MSNBC

I don't believe in boycotts, the RNC should be focusing on running better candidates

oh yes, CRAZY scandal

so fucking stupid

i wouldn't have even apologized since it's actually true for half their base…if not more

and fox, it's conservative mirror only worse, says 50 things a day like this the other way

It was a dumb tweet from the official office of the news agency.

As for if Fox News has done the same, I don't really know. I know Fox anchors have, but that's different than having the official twitter account of the company saying it.

You would expect that tweet to be sent from race hustlers like Sharpton or any of their opinion hosts but not their main Twitter acct

That's what I find curious. But I'm not sure if Fox has done the same thing. I'm sure they have gone after MSNBC but I'm not so sure they have called out MSNBC fewers.

Granted, there's a fine line between representing your company and your own opinions.

It's twitter and some here obviously hold it in high regard to a fault. It's FUCKING TWITTER! TWITTER!

Sure twitter is looked to as a platform for celebrities to trash each other but this tweet came from the main acct of a news organization

Look at it this way, what if the main twitter acct from Goldman Sachs posted "We are swimming in cash while the rest of you aren't "
#greedisgood

There would be outrage and rightfully so

They can say whatever they want to say, but they can also be called out on it. It just looks bad for a news orginization, even if it is one which obviously appeals to one idealogy, to slam a bunch of Americans. They can do it, it just doesn't look good.

Still twitter, home of flaming and ignorance. Bottom line here too is that msnbc is exactly what most think it is, just like fox. This surprises who exactly?

Nearly 6 hours after a 777 with 200+ people on board disappears and it's STILL UNKNOWN IF IT'S CRASHED OR NOT msnbc does NOT EVEN HAVE THE STORY ON THEIR FUCKING WEBSITE.

If it was some horseshit political scandal that didn't even fucking matter it would be front page with bright red fucking bullshit banners. The media in this country is absolute dogshit. A 777, a plane that in its 20 years of existence has had a nearly flawless record VANISHED IN MID FUCKING AIR WHILE IT WAS AT CRUISING ALTITUDE, IN PERFECT WEATHER and somehow, someway, that's not as much of a story as the bullshit political mudslinging that has been going on since the 80's.

Maybe if Obama was going to florida for 3 days it would be front page fucking news. Foxnews has some canned story about it from the AP, but at least it's their front page. Honestly, the only American cable news media outlet that EVEN RESEMBLES news is CNN. At least they do SOME TYPE of journalism.

Just reading through this thread and there's a lot of discussion about MSNBC being to left and FOX being too conservative, here is my new official stance:

Both outlets, regardless of political bias, are absolute jokes when it comes to journalism. They add nothing but sensationalism when they are claiming to be "news" organizations whose intent should be to inform. Referring to either of these organizations as news is similar to referring to the WWE as "sports". If anyone tells me they watch or listen to MSNBC or FOX for news, I will treat them like an adult who believes wrestling is real. If they watch MSNBC or FOX for entertainment then I will think they are bottom-feeding morons that need to be fed like the lowest-common-denominator pieces of shit that they are.

at least msnbc stays pretty damn factual

sure they are biased as a mother fucker, but they don't just make shit up constantly and or purposely twist every fucking story to the point that they are sucking Putin's dick and calling him a "true/real leader" versus Obama…well, bc Obama isn't their guy and so much more

but I agree, both suck overall…just one is infinitely worse and the other is a direct response to the other and that surely doesn't make it right…but perhaps necessary in today's easily misled masses

yet you do realize msnbc is pretty much a known political wing of the nbc news platform overall?

nbc news has a TON of stuff on the lost plane, so I hardly think msnbc just forgot…more by design that it's not their focus, much less where they want people to go for THAT type of news.

fox claims to not only be fair and balanced, but it's their OVERALL news outlet as well. I wouldn't put them in the same category at all, outside their similar political bias in opposite directions. yet one clearly defines themselves as liberal and left of center, the other tries so hard to claim the middle road but NEVER shows it at any point and even has a show now called the independents that is nothing but anti-lib, anti-obama and pro-gop…it's such an obvious ploy to those actual voters and they will not bite one bit.

Spoon hit the proverbial nail on the goddamn head. Well said.

I am a left-winger on most things, and on rare occasion, when I feel like having my shit stroked, I watch MSNBC. I watch it with the FULL UNDERSTANDING that it is biased towards my own point of view. That's the problem with these rabid Fox News people. They can't recognize that same bias on their end.

Fox people cry that even CNN is liberal-biased. It sure may seem that way to a rabid right-winger, as compared to Fox. But CNN sure as hell isn't the liberal one. MSNBC is.

However, ALL of them are newsertainment, not real reporting. The sooner everybody realizes that the better of we'll all be.

Dude!
