While Fox gets criticism for being an arm for the Republicans, MSNBC is the cheerleader for this administration. First of all GE MSNBC's parent Company received TARP funds so we are subsidizing gasbags like Matthews, O'Donnell, Maddow, Olbermann and Big Eddy. Furthermore the biasness in favor of this administration shows every night. Its proven with Olbermanns gushing over Obamas every move or the Thrills going up Chris Matthews leg.

Jeff Immelt GE CEO is on Obamas economic committee. While I think Palin is a trainwreck there is constant trashing of her, but if you were to criticize anyone in the administration or any democrat they call you a hatemonger.

MSNBCs commentators are all hacks but Olbermann is the biggest disingenous one on that channel. His special comments are nothing more than babbling while trying to show emotion. We get it, you hate O Reilly and Fox News. Instead of trying to make his show better andd increase ratingsa its the same old gimmick. Everyone on his show agrees with him, will he ever have someone on his show who says "Sorry Keith but I disagree"

There is no good cable news network. Sometimes people say msnbc is left, foxnews is right and cnn is center, however I disagree and I'd say they are all completely retarded and conflict-driven bottomless pits of misinformation. The only thing unique about any of them is how fox is both openly in bed with the republican party and claiming to be fair and balanced.

Also, there definitely is a conflict of interest regarding GE and Tarp on MSNBC, which I've never heard MSNBC mention. However, MSNBC's M.O seems to be anti-Fox/right-wing media/republicans more than pro-democrat or pro-Obama. I often see them disagree with Obama/democrats (usually for not being liberal enough). Except, of course, Chris Matthews who does not have an ounce of journalistic integrity since he practically proposed to Obama every night during last years elections.

New Jersey Traffic and Weather is the only honest news I know. HLN is good too, because they only tell you the facts in the morning and you can decide for yourself. When Chris Matthew's is the high-water mark on your network, you are in trouble. This receding idiot does nothing more than attempt to be poignant resulting in a gradually dwindling audience. I love when he snaps at people and scowls at the camera, waiting for an answer to one of his mindless questions only to cut his guests off mid-sentence. And as if his talents weren't enough, the audience is also treated to the man with more misguided hate in his heart than anyone on television---Keith Olberman. This guy is such a tool, it is actually painful to listen to him. I am honest when I say, I have never heard any of his commentary and opinion be anything other than irrational, irresponsible and deliberately abrasive. This is coming from someone who knows about hate-in-the-heart. He is also responsible for making watching football on Sunday night a chore. I have heard him say on countless occasion how he attended Cornell. What he fails to mention is that it was not a main-campus education. Its just funny how that never gets mentioned and he is thought of as an intellectual. Now, someone who is actually intelligent and intellectual is Rachel Maddow. Deviant sub-culture personal life aside, I actually like her. In fact, i saw her in the Manchester, NH airport the day after Thanksgiving last year and went up to her, shook her hand and told her that I think everything she says is crazy but that I really do like her. She thanked me and we talked for a few minutes. It was cool and I like her ability to annoy the other side so much and have the brains and a well-thought out opinion to back it up. I may not agree with her, but I really do like her.
Andrea Mitchell is just scary and MSNBC's morning show, it terrible. The female anchor on the show acts as if the world is beneath her somehow and I am convinced each time I happen across the channel in the morning that she is devoid of critical thinking skills. Overall, this is a terrible network not befitting of the title of, 'Cable News.' Its nothing more than a liberal launching pad of insolence and childish behavior.

In terms of viewers Fox blows away MSNBC and CNN. Beck gets about 2.5-3mm viewers at 5pm. O reilly is in the range of 3-4mm viewers. Heck even special report with Brett Baier gets about 2mm. Olbermann gets about 1.1mm Maddow gets 900K and Mattchews about 750k on average.

CNN's numbers go up when theres a major event ie Haiti Earthquake coverage or a political convention. I believe they got the highest numbers when Obama gave his acceptance speech in Denver

Civility has been gone from opinion shows on cable news netoworks for a long time.

Schultz has just been yelling more loudly since Olbermann left, trying to become a brand-face of the network. He's a hack like all the others.
