Probably b/c in his universe its the only movie that exists.
I cant believe the list of films he hasnt/doesnt care to see. Someone needs to get him a netflix and set up his queue so he can be a part of his own show when the topic inevitiably moves to movies.

Wire was..is a pretty good show...but I actually would pick CSI. Never watched from the beginning, but once I saw a few episodes I had to watch them all. Just think the show has great characters and good stories..yes recently it has been a little too much same old same old but I still watch it and still enjoy it.
Also think Lawrence Fishburne being added was a good move.

The problem with arguing about CSI being the "best" is the depth factor. Is it an entertaining show? Sure. But comparing it to an entertaining show with amazing depth like The Wire isn't even close.

TV shows can do more than just entertain. Like all art, quality shows do more than just entertain. They are thought provoking, challenge mores and ideas, etc.
The discussion isn't the most entertaining show but the best show.

The wire had depth and was very entertaining, just don't know how long that might of lasted. Look at OZ, that show was great and then after a few season, it became shit.
I think the same with the Sopranos.
The Wire was great all 5 season. I think they ended the show at a perfect time.

Absolutely. There are shows that are fun and entertaining and that's what they are. And often times those shows are the highest rated shows. Its why Two and a Half Men is on the air and Arrested Development got cancelled.
But when critics put together "best of" lists, if the depth isn't there don't be shocked if it isn't on the list.

Again, I'm not requiring every show to have depth to be a good show. There's a bunch of shows I enjoy regularly and find entertaining, but I realize that they are popcorn shows and are great art. Everyone should enjoy what they want.
But if you're in a debate making analyses of the best show of the decade, it has to have some depth to it.

Hey buddays. We're in the last week of 2009, and today's brand new R&F hour will be about the best and worst of music in the 2000's.
Not sure what Fez will be offering during the hour. It will be interesting to hear what the others will have to say.

I think we'll get a good 20-30 minutes on it. They won't be listing all the music that came out. They're just going to be offering each of their choices for best music. With Ron, Hicks, and ESD talking, I think we'll get some good stuff.
The worst music portion may be the best though for the reasons you state.
