Stupid 1:00 AM Replay

They screwed up the 1:00 AM replay of Monday 2/1's show.

Instead they played the previous Monday's show.

That's the 2nd time they've done that in like 3 weeks.

How can that happen ?

Seems like something that would have to be done on purpose more so than by accident.

Yeah, it sucks. I quite often miss the first half hour of the show, and use that replay to catch up as I fall asleep.

I'm finally catching up. if you consider trying to listen to Monday on Friday catching up, and then I'm disappointed to hear a repeat.

I know I can get them on Audible but that defeats the purpose of having a radio that records shows.

It really seems like you'd have to mess up intentionally to replay an older show than a show from 14 hours ago.

I was looking forward to hearing their comments on the Grammys.

I like the O&A countdown. But, holy shit. stop repeating it over and over again.
Fans of both shows listen for hours at a time. Why would we want to listen to the same 10 segments back to back saturday and sunday.

Mostly the replays are interviews. I really don't listen this morning. On todays replay of Ant smoking pot for the first time was great. I loved the reference of him opening to door from inside the water pump station and said he felt like he was in the Wizard Of Oz when Dorothy walked out into Oz. I wonder if they'll play that?:unsure:

I usually record the shows and then transfer them to my computer so it's only by chance that I was listening to a recorded show in the car that I noticed the screw up.

I hate to keep pointing out what I see as a fairly easy job, not knowing at all what goes into it, but I don't see how they could've loaded the wrong show and replayed it.

Now who knows how many shows that I've recorded and saved, to listen to another time, are repeats of ones I've heard and/or already recorded.

taped sunday afternoon...

Really early/late hours on Saturday and Sunday

Saturday
5:00 AM - 9:00 AM Ron and Fez Wednesday replay
Sunday
3:00 AM - 7:00 AM Ron & Fez Thursday replay
12:00 PM - 4:00 PM Ron & Fez Friday replay

If you miss Monday and Tuesdays show your out of luck
The rest of that time they replay the O&A countdown non stop except for Jason Ellis @ 7pm-9pm Sat, Special Delivery 9-12 Sat and Ron Bennington Interviews 9-12 Sunday Night and Dr Steve Weird Medicine at Midnight on Sat and Sun night.

This isnt about the 1 am replay but it annoys me just a much. When Ron and Fez ends and O&A is waiting to begin that has to be the worst hour of radio ever. 5 am to 6:10 they always play the worst O&A replay available. Its usually something thats been heard on the air a million times. I know hardly anyone is listening at that time but it really blows. I wish they'd play an hour from Sam and Dave. Something different would be great to pass the time.
