our flex plan does not allow you to roll over a balance...the trick is to only put in what you know will come out...our money going into our flex plan is tax-free, so we are discounted our tax rate on our medical expenses...worth the calculation in our case...

I'm not a casino guy either, but gambling can be entertainment like anything else. I play the occasional poker game with friends and it's no different than going out and dropping that same money at a bar, football game, etc.
