Well, for starters they would swap Pink Flamingos with Diner.
And Groundhog Day is Western PA, someone might bring up Wonderboys which is also Pittsburgh, it's not representative of the state as a whole.
Waynes World takes place in Illinois, not Delaware. Fight Club for Delaware, even though it is only technically set in Delaware and doesn't have anything to do with the state.
I woudl swap out Gummo for Major League.
Remember the Titans isn't going to cut it. Evil Dead isn't going to cut it considering Nashville is in TN.
There has to be a better movie about Mass. than shitty The Departed.
Jesus Camp twice is bush league.

I wouldn't pick "Kalifornia" for Kentucky because, while I guess the hayseed killer couple does come from Kentucky, it's not really plainly stated, and most of the movie does not take place in Kentucky anyway. It's a road movie.
If I had to choose, I'd go with "In Country", which I think really did show pretty well what it was like to grow up in hayseed Kentucky. It's an overlooked movie.

Dances with Wolves for SoDak is pretty spot-on. The people there are pretty stoked to be a part of that movie.
Fargo does mostly take place in Minnesota, with a small piece in North Dakota.
If you don't like Fargo for Minnesota, I would go with Grumpy Old Men, Juno, or A Prairie Home Companion.

In Country was filmed in my hometown. You should've seen the hullabaloo when Bruce and Demi came to town. People were so not cool and aloof. There were news stories about the bowling balls they used at the local bowling alley.

I don't know about that, I think most of american if you said to name a movie from florida are going to pick scarface way ahead of cocoon. Wouldn't it be great if you could split the state up, actually wouldn't it be great if you could split the country up.

Big Lebowski represents a lifestyle lived in L.A, and is 100x better than Fast Time's, which let's face it, doesn't stand the test of time.

http://i.imgur.com/Nv94f.png Yes the Waynes World is the quick laugh, but Animal House has its origins from a writing end from U of Del FratHouse 1970's connections. Some strong references in Fight Club would be Ron's fave since he is from this De/PA line area as a pre-pube and teen. Listen to stories of Ron's exploits in the hood and gang fights and his big bro, even his MOM in on the action.Irish bloodthirsty fighter in grade school ? Yeah um Fight Club wins. Forget the Robin Williams Poetry Teacher Movie from the 80's Dead Poets Society. They shot some of that here. Delaware the State is dwarfed in Films by PHILADELPHIA alone,so don't give us an inferiority complex.
