unfortunately i don't remember this, but the drunk shows are all a bit of a blur to me.

that said, this is an opportunity to share a theory of mine...because it's oh-so-interesting...

when i hear replays, i often remember exactly where i was when i first heard it. it just pops in my head, and i think it happens to everyone.

so my theory is that this occurred over millions of years of evolution: those individuals who would remember where they were when they were given directions were more likely to survive. it's not something you have to consciously think about, it's almost like your brain does it automatically.
