These 3 will complain about anything. Everyday it's something new they are complaining about. It's not even important stuff it's dumb stuff like the 35 min break they did complaining about where artists can sign their name on the walls at Sirius. If they ever decide to leave Sirius and do a podcast their goes their cry, bitch and complain shtick

seriously? why would they NOT talk about this? its incredibly baffling why they would need to remove that. they're talking about the very thing that all of us find infuriating in our own jobs. like the other day i got chewed out because some sensitive person mis-interpreted an email and felt like i was being disrespectful.....so i had to go to a meeting, my bosses had to go to a meeting, there were meetings about the meetings....it was fucking ridiculous. so i relate to them here.

O and A and Jimmy are the funny radio jocks in all this and you're over there sounding like the fucking idiot suits that are down the hall talking about having a meeting about a meeting to determine if the signature should be removed. you're complaining about their complaining and you do it all time. go put your suit on, cancel your subscription and go sit in a meeting.

Yeah but the bitching has been out of hand since the merger, and especially since October when Opie was somehow bamboozled into signing a contract he apparantly had no desire to sign. I have headphones on to drown out people bitching about working for a corporation, I'm not trying to hear it from some millionaires who work 4 hours a day at farting around with their friends.

Every time they get whiney it just sounds to me like they're pissed they dont have the same stroke Howard has. You're mad because someone read your email the wrong way, they're mad because they can no longer dump bugs and noxious materials on naked girls locked in trash cans, it isn't exactly the same level of unreasonability.

in this case though i can't see how they wouldn't mention it.......i don't think them bitching about removing an important Hollywood persons signature from a wall has anything to do with how much money they make or how unappreciated they are at sirius. its just one of those annoying shitty things that happens in the corporate climate that the suits wind up doing simply because they can and they have nothing better to do. when they bitch about stuff like that it doesn't have that same selfish twinge of, "i'm a millionaire, have the best job in the world, but still have complaints"

You missed my point and instead you parroted Jim Norton lines at me:wallbash: They complain about everything. Mostly it's Opie, Anthony is just there to do what he has to do and then go home. Norton gets all worked up as soon as Opie brings something stupid up. Who cares if some actresses signature gets painted over? There isn't a day that goes by where Opie throws a temper tantrum. Most of the time he acts passive agressive and mouths it under his breath then other times he goes off for hours about how they don't get any respect. Why would the company respect them when they shit on the company and management, they are out the door at 9:59. I'm sure their attitude, work ethic and effort will defiantly get them that Howard Stern money/studio if he decides to leave. Notice how when he is away both Anthony and Norton seem to have a better time doing the show.

Thank You
You summed it up better then me. Their job is semi easy they are all entertainers it's not like they are working construction or desk jockeying. They have been pissed ever since they got dumped from terrestrial radio, moving to the Sirius building made it worse. It's hard to feel bad or relate to people who are in their position.

Instead of complaining, paltalking and tweeting during interviews they should prepare a little more.

Well... it's really just Opie that's pissed. Jim always hated terrestrial for it's restrictions and Anthony just wants to get paid and go home asap, so he doesn't care. It's Opie's ego that won't let it go. Not to leave out that he's still stuck in a terrestrial way of thinking when it comes to running the show from a jock's perspective. Go back and listen to the first XM shows when it was truly just a very free flowing 4 hour "hang" before they were splitting the show to FM and now listen to what's supposed to be a "hang" for 4 hours and it just sounds nothing like the ease they had when they first hit XM. It's still all about flavor of the week guests, going viral and shitting on the company just like when they were on KRock. When the terrestrial deal shit the bed, all I was hoping for was for them to go back to that early XM style, but no, it's just a shorter version of the same shit.

i'm not parroting jim norton lines at you. i came up with that all by myself cause i'm a big boy. i just find it odd that people who say they are fans of the show complain about how they complain all the time (its not really all the time)......i think the majority of things they complain about are things that nobody else is talking about though.....the over baby-fication of america....the word and thought policing that goes on.....the fake cool guy atmosphere their company promotes but its actually corporate nit picky bullshit as usual. this is stuff i relate to and i'm surprised its not something that other fans of the show, at least around here, don't seem to relate to. it seems like most of the time, the majority of you would rather side with management, or the lawyers, or the religious nuts that become the target of their anger. i like being angry...i like hating my job because of where i work.....i'll shoot myself in the fucking face the day i don't get upset about yet another asinine decision that my bosses or HR or management wind up making cause they can.

In the interest of facts pertaining to the John Stagliano conversation, the ACLU did argue that adult performers portraying underage people in adult movies is protected by free speech, which is one of the things they tried to get Max Hardcore on. While they may not have been involved in Stagliano's trial, or Lenny Bruces trial, they've been involved in similar cases and aren't shying away from anything unsavory or politically incorrect. These people have defended NAMBLA, Nazis, sex offenders and the Westboro Baptist Church, so to imply that they only run down instances of people using racial slurs is some serious shock n jock.

Well, to cut things down a bit - maybe a monthly (or weekly) thread instead of a Daily RnF Listenin' Thread might be better. Especially now that some ppl follow everyday, whereas some are a few shows behind, etc. This makes it easier for all to throw in as it's a broader range. .

Ahhh, missed that part. Makes sense.

It's still amazing that even with Jimmy and Anthony, that show is as unfunny as it is.

I always liked this Oscar kid. He's not a reject like Bobo or intern David, he's just a spaz. A hilarious spaz at that.

Listen to best of now...what i find amazing..not the fact of what they got away with in the 102.7 days..but that it took all the way to the XM days to figure out that opie said "bput" rather then "put"

Intern David at comic con is great. His lack of social graces makes these interviews delightfully brutal.

Breuer is hilarious, but his political views are childish (electoral college and polling).

What is the Pizza Guy story with Bruer?

Also, listening to how desperately Opie wants everything to go viral is so sad and pathetic.

I don't have the energy or the time to listen to an hour of Breuer. I was hoping for a quick recap.

An immigrant that runs a pizza shop in the town where Bruer lives befriends Bruer. At first his shady dealings and over all tacky ridiculousness is funny, but eventually Bruer finds himself on Pizzaman's bad side by not shunning Pizzaman's estranged wife, who has no way to support herself or her children when Pizzaman withdraws his support. Pizzaman does things like steal his wifes bills, and calls the cops claiming that Bruer is holding his wife and children against their will when they stayed with the Bruer family after their utilities were shut off. Lawyers and authorities became involved as Pizzaman become more and more of a pariah in their town. Bruer learned everyone seems to have a story abotu Pizzaman's antics.

Bruer's Wildwood story is hilarious, as I have no idea why he would even go there. Much nicer places in South Jersey.
