Tonights SOTU theme is let's be civil and have Dems and the GOP sitting like its a school play together.

Can this be turned into another drinking game?

A shot each time Obama says investments
A shot each time a congressmen or senator dozes off
Slam down a beer if theres an Alito or you lie remark
A shot every time saved or created is mentioned

Feel free to add more.

I hope Paul Ryan does a better job at the GOP response. Jindal was awful when he had his chance

The Ryan GOP response is screwed from the start as Bachmann is doing a Tea Party response. She'll steal his thunder with a high dose of the crazy.

It gets more interesting. Alito won't be there this year.

Just to be bipartisan, If the tan man cries. Thats 2 shots.

Does anyone else agree that the Tea party seems to be getting way too much press and respect like is an equal to the Repubs and Dems? I mean they are going to have airtime to give a response? Why? Something tells me that within the next 2-10 years if that party continues to grow we will see a break away from the Repubs and have a 3 party system. Thats bad if they and the Repubs get power. Its a good thing if that happens and they split the votes and the Dems win by default. I guess that depends on who you ask as if the Dems win I will be very happy!

As a democrat I love it. I want that to be their image.

What does Fox say?

I can't even imagine. I happen to stop on Fox News after the Academy Award Nominations were announced and they were talking about how liberal and elite Hollywood is, and that's why they don't nominate normal movies.

What do they want them to nominate? Transformers?

How did liking quality films become a liberal thing?

Yeah, the more crazy-ass Bachmann becomes the public face of the Republican party, the more I like it.

And, of course, she's already been caught using total bullshit lies in that speech she gave:

She also threw in a debunked myth about the health care law for good measure.

With the aid of a chart, Bachmann denounced what she called an "unprecedented explosion of government spending and debt, unlike anything we have seen in the history of our country." She said the stimulus had "failed," and called on Obama to repeal "ObamaCare." She also blamed Obama for the nation's 9.4 percent unemployment rate.

"Instead of a leaner, smarter government, we bought a bureaucracy that now tells us which light bulbs to buy, and which may put 16,500 IRS agents in charge of policing President Obama's healthcare bill," she said. The IRS agent claim has been widely debunked, and factcheck.org says it "stems from a partisan analysis based on guesswork and false assumptions, and compounded by outright misrepresentation."

Probably.

But they were complaining about how quality films like Batman and Inception get screwed.

Anything requiring use of more than three brain cells is considered liberal...

The founders were not perfect, they were human. Plus they participated in orgies etc. The tea bagger was awful. Bachmann is not running for President she's as relevant as Palin.

As for Lardball Chris Matthews. He does not know the 3/5 of a person clause.

Here comes the YouTube clip of some one-market left wing talk show host saying something mean about Bush. Because, obviously, some blogger or obscure radio dude is as influential and has as much impact on the political climate as a sitting member of the United States House of Representatives, or a former Governor and Vice Presidential nominee.
