Perhaps they can have more homeopathic bs articles and great articles about "Why He Cheats." Why does he cheat? Because his side may be a bimbo, but even she doesn't believe in toxins like you do.

I would love to know how Matt Drudge feels.
Drudgereport was around for years before Huffington.

The problem with Drudge is that he doesn't really produce content, rather he links to it. There is no value for a major site to take advantage of.

It still must be worth a fortune though.

Actually I think its web traffic is all that matters. Content means nothing ...just hits and traffic.

AOL is desperately trying to become a content provider that you'll go to regardless of how you get on the Internet otherwise.

A lot of their income is still coming from grannies who don't know you need to pay for "the AOL" if you've got a cable or DSL modem.

Oh yea, the domain is probably worth a fortune. But I can't imagine that a domain with no real content is worth much to a group like AOL.

She had plenty of money before this and now has a huge controlling interest with the many sites owned and operated by AOL, not to mention the Huff Post's audience will grow about 10 fold. So no, not really.

How is she a sellout? Selling your company when its time is smart business. Shes not fucking over her employees or leaving everyone behind. Shes bringing them with her and shes staying on! Shes not selling something that is about to collapse and cheating people out of their money like conservative businessman do!

I say good for her and good for America. She will be paying $100 million give or take in taxes and thats a good thing. Now if she does what Repubs do and tries to defer, write off everything and pay no taxes then I would have a problem!

LIBS CAN'T MAKE MONEY! LIBS CAN'T BE IN IT FOR PROFIT....EVER!

If only we could get Bill O'Reilly's, Rush Limbaugh's or Sean Hannity's take on this. Oh wait, welcome to anything WF says.

A domain with no content means less bandwidth to pay for, if all things were equal outside of the content you're going to make more with the contentless site. That said, in the case of drudge vs huffinton it's a moot point, Huffington has way more traffic.

Edit: Although there is something to be said for the fact that sites like drudge have very low time spent on page, which is less time looking at ads, which means youre not likely to click on any of them. Fuckin' internet ads, how do they work?

Progressives can make money. It was the left who went apeshit that Limbaugh got a 400mm payday.

Even if Huff made a billion dollars. Who cares? I just dont want to hear from her lecturing about greed and excess

Huff Po isnt waht it used to be. Progressive politics is just a small sample on that site If anyone on the let is keepin it real its Markos Moulitas

Its gullible to think that Huffington wont take any kind of writeoff or loophole. Rich people no matter what their political affiliation want to keep as much as they can
