There is a guy like this in my extended family. He's been caught, put in prison, and released several times. Each time, the family accepted him back. :furious: There is no correcting or rehabilitating this shit.

A few variables will generally determine the severity of the effects of sexual abuse on a child, one being the younger the child, the worse the long term effects on the child.

*edit* that is, the younger the abuse "starts".

And now that child will be put into the foster system and could very well face a hard childhood moving from home to home. Happens more often than not and will just be subjected to another form of abuse.



That mother deserves more than 20 years.
