My only question is who the hell would have sex with him?

It doesn't have a picture of the woman or mention her name. And yet it was ordered down by "county domestic violence court officials".
Judging by his picture, his ex made the right choice.

The woman in question's friends are saying she had a miscarriage, but the woman herself (though spokespeople) isn't saying either way.
Besides, if she did have an abortion, good for her. Looking at the douche on that billboard, I can only imagine what sort of hellspawn his awful DNA would produce. This woman has saved us all from disaster.

I still dont see whats wrong with the billboard though. Minus the fact that the mans a goblin. Why should he have to remove it? Like someone said earlier, there is no picture of her or mention of her name. I dont see the problem.

It does seem disingenuous for this guy to try to defend himself by saying he didn't put the chick's name on it, though. He had to know this was going to gather attention, and people who try to figure out who both he and her were. So it doesn't name her, true, but it brings a lot of shit down on her head.
And, as noted, it might be bullshit. It's not certain that she actually *did* have an abortion or not.

Yeah it is, which is why "Well, he didn't put her name on it" isn't a real defense for him here. He had to have known that people would investigate and figure out who he is, and, thus, who the woman in question is.
Unless he's really stupid, in which case any fetus he fathers should be aborted anyway.

Anyone care to address the actual content of the message?
Are we just taking it for granted that Men's Rights don't exist/matter?

I guess it doesnt because if he wanted her to have it she doesnt have to. But if it were reversed and he wanted her to have an abortion she wouldnt have to but he would have to pay child support even though he didnt want the kid.
Its a touch situation that should have allow for some input from the father. I dont think a guy should be able to force the matter either way, it is a womans body and she should do so as she chooses. At the same time it is kind of shitty that a guy has no choice but still obligated no matter what and could go to jail for unpaid child support even if he didnt want the kid?!

I think if a woman agrees to have a baby with a guy, the guy should be required to sign an agreement to pay child support before the baby is born in order for the girl to actually collect it. While Im sure it may hurt some women, I bet alot more women would choose abortion if they knew there wouldnt be some poor sap having to cut them a check every month.

ive read about this somewhere else and the woman's name IS on the billboard. it says "Created for N.A.N.I. - National Association of Needed Information" the woman's name is Nani Lawrence. he created that organization just for purposes of the billboard.
this man is controlling and mentally ill. ive found some screencaps of his twitter that go back a few months before this incident. Reading it is chilling. some can say, "well he's just speaking metaphorically" but im reading it as someone who currently has an order of protection against someone. these "jokes" are not too off the mark of things ive had said to my face to members of my family.

The guys a complete creep and definitely seems dangerous. That being said, I still dont think he shouldve been forced to take the sign down. If you didnt do all that sleuthing to find out Nani was the girls name I never wouldve put that together.
If anything, Id say the billboard makes him look a whole lot worse then her.

the lady's name is in the daily news article. so there wasnt much sleuthing to it :o the daily news didnt put up the original billboard, which is what really makes her case for removing the billboard, at least to me. i noticed further up thread that some people were saying that it shouldnt matter as long as her name wasnt on it. i just want people to know that it was, and thats is probably one of the reasons why the court ruled in her favor.

Even if he explicitly named her, what does it matter? It was in poor taste but how is it illegal?

I think if he named her on the board it would be illegal under the HIPAA laws since he would be sharing medical information on her without her permission.

i think the issue used in court was privacy violation.
on a personal note, if this woman really lost the baby to miscarriage, a baby that she was intending to keep, this is just pouring salt on the wound . this guy is scum.

I agree with this but I dont want people who can afford shit like this to create billboards every time they are wronged. I dont think its illegal just like cheating on your husband or wife is but people have taken out billboards exposing their cheating spouse and those shouldnt be allowed either. Its making a personal problem worse and public for no reason. That all being said if they allow the others to stay up then they shouldnt have forced this down but he is an asshole for making her decision which Im sure was hard and personal public. I do however also see how he could be hurt and frustrated that he had no rights.
Like I said before, its a touchy situation but doing this doesnt help. The only thing this really does is scare someone from being exposed by their bf/gf when they wrong them and that should be illegal!

found this post linked in an article about this at jezebel. looks like she didnt believe in abortion and lists her worries about the pregnancy:
Me and my bf are expecting, and we're excied but it took me coaxing. At first, I was concerned about how I would be able to take care of my child. Let me explain....when I was 7, I went into a coma, and it left me with many 'issues'. I lose my balance easily, I am paralyzed on the left side of the face, and it is hard to understanernd me sometimes. But the most concerning thing of all, I have severe tremors. I will have surgery to try to correct this when I'm 21, but by the time I give birth I'll only be 20. Not to mention the fact that I have been hurt so many times due to my weight that the idea of extra is unbearable. My bf is 15 years older than me and has been told he could never have children. So, of course he always wanted to keep it. It was so unplanned and I'm so unprepared(and I'm against abortion unless you've been raped) that the first thing I thought was 'I'll give it up for adoption.' But his want for a kid compelled him to talk me into it. But after talking to my parents, I've gone back to my initial concerns. If you knew me, you'd know it kills me to do anything that might PO or hurt someone's feelings. How do I bring it up? Also my mom was saying that I could give it up and let him adopt it. Would that make a completely horrible person?..
its so sad...

I dont see why that has anything to do with anything other then being typical media crap that tries to make it something more then it is for no other reason but to try to sensationalize it even further.
