I thought Chad got it a little rough and Sharon got it a little easy tonight. I thought Chads wigs were great and aside from the wierd rectangular hips on that one dress she looked good. On the other hand I cant believe they didn't slam Sharon on two out of three looks. The boots were inspired but only her daytime look was really stellar.

The people have spoken, or whatever. Former RuPaul's Drag Race contestant Carmen Carrera's protest and petition-launching after being ridiculed on Monday's episode of Cake Boss have resulted in TLC deciding to halt all planned future airings of the episode. The network has also removed it from online retailers. This move is, unsurprisingly, approved by GLAAD, which says on its blog:

This is a welcome and needed action on the network's part to help fix the issue. In the original, the dehumanizing prank set-up consisted of a cast member flirting with Carerra before it was revealed to him that she was a transgender woman, at which point one of the cast members exclaimed "It's a man, baby." The mean-spirited setup and result utterly belittled her gender as a transgender woman, and has no place on the air...

...Carrera spoke with GLAAD after being told the episode had been pulled, saying: "It's clear that TLC is taking this seriously and showing a genuine concern - which means a lot of me. It's not okay for media to make a mockery and perpetuate ignorance. Over the past 24 hours, I have been flooded with support and I want transgender women to know that we have a voice. Transgender women are some of the bravest people that I know and I hope to be there for them when they face discrimination like this in their daily lives. I liked the "niche" character too. I had no idea who she was, and the judges kept saying she didn't make it funny, but I thought she was great! The look she'd give when the punchline was bad made the joke work.

I dont know about this challenge. Back to back comedy is kindof weak, and the challenge wasn't really about drag. Then the payoff is only the team with the highest points gets any benefits and everyone else is just judged on the runway?

Although Yara and Alexis looked very good again. Chad can kindof look like an old biker woman sometimes, but I liked his challenge look. Manilla looked like half bene gesserit half peter murphy. And I'm usually not a juju guy but she also looked good. Raven's lips freaked me out.

I'm annoyed that the judges kindof shit on Latrice on one hand, and then are saying "Oh latrice finally does camp." I'm sure Latrice didn't want to hit the button to let Manilla save face, but the song was a better match for Latrice and she might've been able to bring it down. Manilla was getting too big with it, while juju was keeping it tight and performing more to her look. There are only hard eliminations at this point.

I saw Kelly Osbourne but it looks like there might be other celebrity participants next week, I'm curious as to who. I saw one other young girl.

I find myself a little disappointed. The other times they've skipped an elimination it felt more deserved. This time is just kindof feels planned. Ru was all torn on the other ones. I get that Juju and Raven were sad but they didn't really bring a performance, especially not Juju who I believe deserved to go home. Her runway was also the weakest to me.

I agree, Ivy Winters came close with what she sewed but the PR girl's make up was just insane. It was much more of a complete look. They were stacking that deck throwing in a Miley Cyrus song. If you want to stick around maybe a little longer than your talent permits just piss everyone off, and the producers will want to keep you. The Shangela effect.

If you've never seen the show, here's the deal: anywhere from 9 to 13 contestants start the season, selected from a large pool of aspiring drag queens. Every episode, the queens participate in two challenges: a mini-challenge and a main challenge. The mini-challenge is usually some small scale task (dressing up a doll in drag, lipsyncing to one of RuPaul's songs). The winner(s) of these challenges get some sort of leg up into some part of the main challenge. The main challenge usually has some performative and/or creative element (dancing, singing, making an outlandish costume out of mundane items), which is often combined with a runway performance. At the end of the show, one queen wins, while two are "up for elimination" and forced to "lipsync for their lives."
