So the balsamic worked good with the dijon? Gonna-Gotta have it!

No, I put mustard in my dressing, it's pretty standard for me. I make good seasons italian dressing with balsamic vinegar. Before you put the oil in drop a rounded teaspoon of dijon mustard into the shaker, then add the oil and shake. It emulsifies the dressing so it doesn't seperate after, and is them creamier without having any dairy in it.

Between the dressing and the goat cheese it was a nice, creamy mayoless chicken salad.

Cbob, I posted this on io9 under the story link. Kind of explains it.

Some hearing impaired or completely deaf individuals can learn to vocalize. Marlee Matlin the actress is the best known example of this, but I've met others and in high school I even dated a girl that was completely deaf but could vocalize words with varying degrees of clarity. The girl in the video has excellent vocalization, but she is also 29 and has had a lot of practice. There is a big difference between deaf and mute and there are other ways to memorize and understand vocalization besides just hearing the word perfectly and knowing what it means and how to say it. There are tones, vibrations, all sorts of unique cues that ppl who can hear don't even think about when we listen to something because we don't have to. It just has to be taught a different way really.

Just for the record:
I am going to my hunting lodge after work today for 4 days. Gonna work on getting all of my tree stands and hunting blinds/shacks ready for the upcoming hunting season. The weather is turning colder this weekend and I will have a giant fire going, all of the college football games and copias amounts of liquor and wacky weed.

My cousin had a dozer delivered so we can do some maintenance on access roads etc - and I am looking forward to playing in the dirt.

I am going to my hunting lodge after work today for 4 days. Gonna work on getting all of my tree stands and hunting blinds/shacks ready for the upcoming hunting season. The weather is turning colder this weekend and I will have a giant fire going, all of the college football games and copias amounts of liquor and wacky weed.

My cousin had a dozer delivered so we can do some maintenance on access roads etc - and I am looking forward to playing in the dirt.

Also that it sortof ignores the love of the game, which Ron pointed out, that the A's weren't successful at the highest level, which is true, and that the whole theory became antithetical in the long run because the prospects would just get gobbled up by the big teams.

It's just that we're cool with this, we can enjoy the movie in spite of this, and he's saying 'no I cant.' I love that he'll look at a movie everyone loves and say "That's total shit."

Other than prepping for the hunt, I'm extremely jealous of that setup; it sounds perfect. It's definitely coming near the ideal bonfire season. My family lost its weekender after a big dam bust, and while backcountry or car campgrounds are nice, the seclusion of a home away can't be beat. Where I think you are, I'd recommend flinging some bacon around your property lines to bring out a young sow and her cubs.

Lots of people gleefully look at Rotten Tomatos to see how bad Transformers or a Uwe Boll movie gets reviewed, and then they gossip about how much money it makes and how many hayseeds like it to feel superior to them.

Ebert's review of transformers 2 was really mean and funny. He's validating the scores of people that dont want to see that shit, who can see that Ebert agreed with them and got all catty.

The biggest grossing movie of any given year still has more than half of the people in the country not seeing it or disliking it.

I'm guilty of watching big budget movies to see how bad they are so I can then be catty about it, they do it on the show, my friends do it too. Negative criticism can still validate an audience.
