MORNING BUDDAYS!!!!!! I'm back live today too. had a bit of a staycation added on to the Thanksgiving break we got from work. used 3 days vacation and I was off for 9, so you can't beat that.

In other news, I found a great deal on a Gears of War console last night for $300 instead of the usual $400+, so yea....that happened. My console shit the bed, so I haven't played a game in about 5 months.

Mike Williams racked up 12+ while on the bench to Moore's goose egg. Should be exciting watching the stat tracker though. If Victor Cruz doesn't get enough looks tonight I think I'm sunk.

yea, that was a big boost. I needed Brady to kill it out there and he did. Forte didn't do shit and Torrey Smith was a big disappointment this week. I would have loved to see Jones Drew get a TD but he still brought in some decent points.

Its going to be all on the Giants D and Sproles. Either he gets stopped all game and I win it, or Sproles eats up yardage and its yours. Victor Cruz will be the X factor in this whole thing. It should be fun having two things to scream my head off about tonight. hahaha

Idiot! So what? Why shoot him up? I'll summarize my opinion: Over-zealous, poorly trained, scumbag law enforcement psychos who've already decided that the American jury system is useless in promoting their own self-interests.

He was supposedly the muscle for a drug crew, and he pointed an AR-15 at them.

They weren't going there to apprehend the guy, they were executing a search warrant.

And before everyone attacks me, I happen to agree we should legalize, regulate, and tax narcotics, rather than this stupid "war on drugs". And Manning may be right with his opinion of the officers involved.
I'm just saying it's wrong to say they should have just taken the guy when he left for work. And he wasn't "going for his gun" - he was pointing it at them. And according to them, he shouted, "I've got something for you".

i remember the first time i saw a police officer with an assault rifle on the subway. it was surreal. not a national guardsman, but a police officer.

now they have rifles at the bag searches outside the subway. i never let them search me. EVER. its a stupid weed check and excuse to search without proper cause. and they wont remind you of your 4th amemd. rights. fuck that security theatre. i walk out and go to another station, just like any one else who really wanted to get something into the subway would do.

I realize you weren't trying to strike my opinion, but it bears repeating. This is an issue of training and psychology, more than a tactical argument. Even if it were the latter only, too many options were overlooked: intel on who was home; two $30 cans of tear gas; a dozen other alternatives that I'm too igorant to think up.

I completely agree. I don't know why they didn't try to execute the search warrant when the guy wasn't home, especially considering he had been under surveillance.
I also disagree a warrant was valid with the reasons reported in the news - but I'm not a judge and don't know if more was presented than what was reported.

The ridiculous part in that video is after shots start getting fired one of the swat guys who wasn't in the doorway actually runs forward and puts his pistol up over some guys shoulder just so he can start unloading some bullets...
