Morning all - hope Santa was good to you and yours.

I spent most of the holiday with a side of the family that yells, fights and puts down each other. It was stressful and very taxing on my nerves and patience. I was scheduled to spend 3 nights but only could do one - and when I left, they yelled at me for leaving so early...

Money aside, my best gift this year is a goose down vest from Cabellas - I loves it!

Im such a nerdy gamer (havent played the newest Batman game yet) and if you like really long games that are hard but very rewarding to play - I recommend Dark Souls. I spent over 300 hours before beating that game. I felt like Rocky and wanted to run out the house and up the road after the final boss...

Hope you all had a great Christmas like I did. Ate too much, which had the negative effect of making me too full to drink to my satisfaction, but all in all a great one. My daughter got her and I tickets to the first 2 rounds (after the dumb playin round) of the NCAA tourny in Louisville. Now hopefully the Kentucky Wildcats will stay somewhere in the top 10 giving them at least a 3 seed, if the selection committee behaves properly they should put UK in Louisville and make me very happy. Shortly after this couple of days of fun my daughter will be off to Afghanistan and I will begin to age in dog years.

I have been seeing this chick that really gets into the Universe vibe. She always talks about putting out the energy to the Universe for what we need/want - and she believes that it will come to you. Well, a few weeks ago I tried it. I spent some time imagining myself with money, telling the Universe that I am open for money to enter my life etc.

Well, this Christmas I have amassed over $11,000 now - from family gifts! This is not normal - never have I seen anything over $500.

I dont really know if the Universe thing works or just a coincidence but it has opened my eyes a little more to the notion.

If we are made of atoms, and atoms vibrate in certain ways, then maybe we can vibrate in a way that makes some of this happen by using our minds? I have kinda went far out there now but who cares? I have some cash in the bank now - thanks Universe!
