Why anyone would call and think they could win a debate or argument over the radio while on the phone is beyond me. A lot of people think that because they have off three months during the year. Most teachers though don't take the entire three months off and there is plenty of bullshit they deal with during the year. The politics alone are mind numbing and I don't know many other jobs where when you go home, you have to do homework and then create lesson plans on the weekend.

I disagree. I really don't listen much anymore and mostly it's because when I tune in, Opie usually is going off about how lame and un-hip everything is. I don't think, though, that he is being genuine. I think that he sees it as fodder to get the show going and create conversation but, for me, it's like listening to my mom bitch about everything, too (albeit on the opposite side of the edge spectrum)

Only thing that i find sort of annoying is that Jimmy says all this stuff about PSA's and about anything and will rip it apart, a smart way and maybe even what i think is right but if it is a comedian it is like hands off and can do no wrong. Just my stupid thought of 5:56

I feel he does not do that...I actually really like jimmy's POVs on many subjects.

But I do love the show still...I am one of those fans who does the full 8 hour tour....sometimes 9 hours but sometimes the shit show is just that SHIT.
