Is anyone else tired of sweet melissa?

At first i thought she had a cute voice,but at this point i have to turn off my radio whenever she is on.Between the silly moans every night, and having her on the the show at least twice a week, i can't take it anymore. She contributes nothing to the show except that squeaky, annoying voice.I am a huge fan of the show, but have had enough of melissa.P.S.I hope al beats joe's ass! SEE YA!

Call it a hunch, but I think you're going to find yourself in the overwhelming minority on this one, spinachboy.

And as far as not adding anything else besides her voice, you obviously don't listen too closely. Melissa is a science whiz, and regularly contributes bits of wisdom and information that benefit the discussions and the show greatly.

Oh, and she's also one of the greatest people I've ever had the pleasure to meet.

In addition to being a very intelligent
and lovely person, Melissa is perfect for the show. She is at ease on-air, and that adorable, sexy voice is RADIO GOLD. Ron and Fez know that, and obviously the listeners know that.
Mainly, Melissa is a good person, and that comes through whether you know her or not( that's where the 'Sweet' came from!). :)

I have never met Melissa, I have only talked to her thru IM's. She has been very nice to me, even thru IM's. I think she has a great voice ... and she is very smart ...

spinachboy is to be commended for speaking his mind and calling it as he sees it -- but gvac is right, doesn't look like most other folks around here see it that way too. I know I don't!

I think Sweet Melissa is cool and it's fun to listen when she hangs around in the studio. I do think, however, that just like any other popular sound drop, if her moans are overplayed, people will get tired of hearing them, and R&F might get tired of playing them. I mean, the "drunk Billy" intro is funny, but we've all pretty much got it memorized by now, and Billy seems like he's sick of hearing hearing "drinks are on -- the house" from everybody.

Yeah, I know what you're saying. "Easy, you crazy! I could listen to Melissa moan all night and I sure wish I could!" But trust me on this one. Too much of a good thing, my friends... So the obvious solution is to have Melissa on-air more! :) That way, we all win. More live goodness, less canned moans (though I nearly dropped my coffee mug the first time I heard her say "that's my button" -- ok, I admit, that was hot.) Or maybe some different stuff than just moaning. The Mike Tyson press conference bit was comedy gold. But of course that all depends on a whole bunch of things, and I'm just a listener, so it's easy for me to sit here and go "Yay! This is how the show should be!" Kinda like armchair producing, I guess. (Put in your own "anyone can do it better than Al" joke here.)
