now I understand minorities have gone through way more hardships than white people. I get that there is bitterness with the way that minorities were and still are treated at times. That said, I really REALLY cant stand when people invoke fuckin slavery. THERE IS NOT A SINGLE PERSON ALIVE IN THE US WHO HAD ANYTHING TO DO WITH SLAVERY IN THE US. Black, white or otherwise.

I know it has been said before..but someone is going to die on the field and the game will go away. I really don't want that. They can not expect the guys playing for years in the league to change overnight..They need to start teaching the proper hitting in High School. This way the high school kids that play now in HS, when they get to the league things will change.

I never route for the big hit or watching one of my players from my team smash someone and knock someone out. It has to change otherwise, we will lose everything. I look forward to football so much..baseball..boring...Basketball and Hockey..WAY too long. I don't want to see football go away..but I am afraid it is going to.

My nephew played football and baseball this past year...and I want to push him to baseball...yes he could gets beamed with a fast ball, that could fuck him up..but less of a change a 350 lbs man is going to crush him.

Again I love football..just don't want the sport to go away..yet at the same time, I don't want to see grown men playing flag football...because we all know what that looks like..and I don't want to say it because fezzy will get upset....Fezzy LOW

dude, just stop. I, of all people, would not be one to want to see football end. That doesnt mean people should be crowning people. All he has to do is lift his head up and put his facemask into the guys chest and its a legal, beautiful hit.

Fundamental tackling isn't hitting high or low. In fact it isn't hitting at all

Great point, however this is the top league in the world and textbook form tackling is pretty hard to set up on the practice squad guys for most. I understand some protection, but hitting is a part Of thr fabric of the game as well, and always should be. If the risks are too high for you, play another safer sport. NFL and NHL have to stop with the overprotection, bc things like banning fights and instigator penalties only hurt the game and the safety overall for short term gains.

NHL has a no leaving your feet rule for hits. It's about the same for NFL there is no attempt to even tackle at times. It's just launching high or low that can lead to end of players season/carrier.

yea it was close because it started as a great hit. He put his shoulder right into the side of the guy. If he had just not ducked his head at the last second it would be the video you show kids of how to tackle. But just before impact, he ducks his head.

Saw the review for fins on TV and had a look at the Dustin Keller deal. The dumb rookie defender drops to a knee while Keller was coming down after leaving feet for the catch. Then drives into shin area and sideways. If he had time to drop to a knee, he had time to set up a more fundamental tackle with out incapacitating Keller.

His lame excuse was not hitting high. Dumbest thing I ever heard.
