The Zach Braff thing is unethical because he's going to use crowd funding, then sell the product back to his crowd funding base plus make money off of it from other people, advertising etc. The people taking the risk by putting up the money aren't getting any of the reward if the movie does well.
It's different than an independent person who is basically just selling advance copies of his niche product in order to fund the project. It would be different if for $20 you were getting a copy of the DVD.

I dont think it's unauthentic to have a sense of fashion. They had a very specific sense of fashion that was rooted in an ideology, and it had ties to other non fashion things. It would be a mistake to say that it was a utilitarian look that was coopted, it was always fashion that was meant to be reactionary to elitism and totally attainable, and it has been coopted by high end retail.

Wow, Popcorn really has grabbed onto the Fez gimmick of telling everybody about his problems as if anybody cared.
I always thought that you had to be a tenured professor before you were licensed to bore people like this. Or a national radio host.
Not only is Ron not sick of Fez, he's actually grooming a new replacement who is younger and equally bad at radio.
Just as I thought....Ron is dangling the bait to draw out Fez...
I thought this was what was going on.

You don't understand. The reason three girls were kidnapped and help hostage is because people aren't neighborly enough.
As if this kind of thing never happened when everyone was all "howdy neighbor!", like back in the 40s and 50s.

I'm a little delayed, and on the time travel part.
Has anyone brought up that it's not just the earth moving around the sun, it's our solar system going around the center of the milkyway.
There's no way to calculate where the earth would be for time travel.

Is there any other possible reason for these segments other than Ron enjoys torturing his audience? :surrender:

Yeah, someone called in and mentioned that our universe was also moving, but Ron's positive that a mathematician could figure that in too.

Well they cant put him up as innocent, so they can either make a plea or argue for insanity. I cant imagine they'd be too into taking a plea considering how easy it should be to convict him. He wouldn't be getting off, he'd probably just be dodging the death penalty and getting special imprisonment.

He's got 20 hours of airtime to fill and a partner who is on strike. I can't blame Ron for this.

yea, those mental wards for dudes like him are no vacation, and are often worse considering this country's abysmal state of mental health care.

How has Ron made it to his age, commenting on current events, with absolutely no idea of the legal definition of not guilty by reason of insanity?

I understand that's why we heard an hour of 80's music today, but he's got to know how bad Popcorn sounds. :surrender:

They took their name from a Faulkner novel so they had to be in a library at least once.

Just doing live reads is still more talking than Fez has done a lot of weeks the past couple years.

For as long as I've been listening to the show (WNEW) he's always set up at least one member of the staff to be the guy the audience hates.
Al Dukes was the best at this.

OK, updated shooter info. He tried to get a plea deal for life in prison but the prosecution wouldn't accept it and are going after the death penalty. His council entered a not guilty plea, and now they want to change it to not guilty by reasons of insanity. The judge has not allowed the plea change yet, they're having a hearing on it where the lawyers have to show cause for changing the plea.
So, the short answer is he's changing his plea to get out of execution, and I'm sure his lawyers are saying thats the best way for him to avoid execution.

I understand and completely agree. I only complain because people like Al Dukes, Billy Staples, and even Earl made these segments hysterically funny. Popcorn just makes my ears hurt.

Ron's definition of "insanity" seems to be "stupidity".
Knowing to lay down with your hands out when cops are pointing guns at you doesn't make you sane, nor does having the knowledge to set booby traps.

I know.
