Was anyone other than me disappointed with Ron's reaction to Troy yesterday?

I had a take on who Ron is. But yesterday he didn't give Troy any argument about crapping on Zito's girl if or about the clear anti-gay rant that had upset Fez.

If you remember a couple of years ago, when Fez and Zito got into it on the air, Ron jumped on Zito hard. And his point was that they can say whatever we want but there's never any excuse to get physical. I think Troy threatening Zito so convincingly is what scared Fez to begin with.

As a guy who likes music that other people despise, I would never present challenging music to people with no preface, and then be mad that they didn't like it. If you love Daniel Johnston you should be used to people not getting him. He is singing off key, he is playing and writing non traditionally, and he is making lo fi recordings with little technical expertise. It's wrong to act like everything avant garde in the world is instantly apparent to you. You have to learn to like stuff like that, and if Ron did like Daniel Johnston from the get go it's only because he hated something else weird first and learned to have his mind changed.
