She's been on this campaign for awhile. Twerking, showing up at rap shows, changing her look etc. I think it's possible she has to cope with the negativity, but I also think she's already got a strategy for that and it's working really well for her. It doesn't make the negativity permissive at all, and I'm glad she seems to be able to move on from it.
