Ahhhh that one works! Sorry for my ignorance, I just found out about
the stream tonight, I haven't been able to listen to the guys since
they left NY. I was calling the number that is on the RF.net front
page. I'm calling from CT, but this number works, thanks alot man.

was quite dismayed to see the letter that caused its end.  How
long has the Buffet been belly up?

The buffet was an absolute luxury and
unfortunately seems to have gone the way of Whatley Radio and Big Sexy
(not a Kevin Nash reference).  I am curious to see if their will
be a similar service in the future or will it have to kept so on the
down low that only the cool kids will be aware.  Ugh, just keeps
getting tougher to keep up from up east.  Can't seem to get the
sanctioned streaming feed working, darn you Infinity.

And it started after someone wanted to send a "Big Shout Out" to Don and his family.  I think Ron just thought the term SHout Out was innapropriate for a sympathy wish, and maybe sounded a little too "party" talking about someone's death.

The one thing I'll note is that one of the board members was gracious enough to send me a dub or Ron & Rons "Let the Puppies Breathe" video, and it has footage of the match in which Fez wrestled and Ron was the manager.  It's pretty good, and I'll hopefully be able to add that clip to the file library soon.

It just seemed very abrupt and cold, and I hadn't heard them end the show with the "I will be released" song before.  Have they used this before?  (I haven't heard an entire show in a while).Maybe it was just my disappointment because I was looking forward to hearing "Fat Baby" on a live show again.

Look, not to bash the show here, but I'm friggin' tired of this.I'm sure they're just as uncertain as the rest of us, but hey...do a normal show.  And plenty of nights during all this they have...but nights like tonight blow.  Yeah, the wrestling stuff was a cute protest before, but man, I loathe it.  I know there's lots of wrestling fans here, but that stuff is radio death.There's really no way to voice this without sounding like a prick, and I'm not trying to be, but let's just press on.  If they end up off WJFK, hey, that's what happened.  It's radio...everyone's used to there not being a good-bye show.  Let's just have the same ol'-same ol' until then, and go out on the usual top-notch radio that R&F put up night after night.  Pseudo-goodbye shows and behind the scenes stuff (what little there is, to be fair) and protest wrestling shows and whatever the hell else I'm leaving out is getting tedious.  I don't WANT to be some kind of radio insider, goddammit!

Oh, no doubt.  I have nothing but sympathy for the numerous crappy situations they're in...I'm just thinking back towards the end of the WNEW days, and we knew even less...and I definitely preferred it that way.  If the end must come for their stint on free radio, I'd rather it just happened suddenly without all kinds of build up or on-air "stress."  Let them deal with that mess behind the scenes...leave the on-air time to ANYTHING else.

Need to cut some slack - they did sound exhausted. I don't believe
the wrestle talk and music was any sort of protest tonight (at least
not completely) - just a way to keep things from getting serious and
try and close out a really aweful week. I thought (all things
considering) that this week's three shows were pretty decent. 
There might not have been anything that was "best of" material tonight,
but I got quite a few honest laughs.They might not have dwelled
on it, but (just listening to the kind of guys they are) you have to
figure that R&F were affected hard by Freda's death. And from the
sound of the D&M Show, the station is filled with flowers from
listeners. That has to be one of the worst circumstances to have to
come back from vacation.

I just finished listening to Thursday's Wrestling/Music show. Aside from the first 20 mins of Wrestling talk, the rest of the show was great. I don't know what you guys were complaining for. I loved listening to Ron 'rock out with his cock out' to "Sweet Child O' Mine" (Again, I need to find that file from the day Crazy Jen did the Bitz Game show the first time around.
