i saw the game!@!  At 3 o clock something kicked and i put on sky sports and there it was!  then the defense looks like a Cubs game and we shit the bed., fucking great!

Everytime I feel like I'm about to be happy
Johnson's a Yankee he has a start like this. He's not an ace. He just
doesn't have it consistently anymore. He proved this over the course of
a whole season. It's a 60% chance you have him coming out with his
dominating stuff. The other 40% he either craps the bed or has to
really fight through to a halfway decent start.And he'll only be
older the next two years. I hope he has something left on the off
chance the Yanks advance, give them something that made the trade worth
it. If not I hope he retires.EDIT:
And adding insult to injury is that Paul Byrd is doing a much better
job. A little almost midget throwing sub-90s junk (I mean that in a
good way) keeping the Yanks off balance and getting outs. At least he
was until I typed this out.

Again, the best option for all is that he
retires. Oddly enough, though, I'd feel confident if he gets another
start. He rarely lays two eggs in a row. I'd feel confident in getting
one more good start out of him. After that? I'm scared shitless. Could
be moot, we'll see. 
And I'll say this now: I don't care who is leading, if they call
this game before 9 innings is over it's a travesty. Hopefully they'd be
able to pick it up tomorrow in a worst case scenario, but this game
needs to the full 9 innings.

Who gets an edge with this rainout?Yanks get to give Mussina an extra day, which is good for his elbow.Yanks
can use all their FABULOUS relievers again, plus possibly the Big
Eunich out of the bullpen on Sunday, which they're already talking
about on their website.  Angels rest their 2 setup relievers (Sheilds/Escobar), who went 2 innings each yesterday. Washburn gets an extra day, he's said to have elbow issues too.  I
say slight edge Angels. Those relievers are tough. But if the Yanks
dont get their starter to give the ball to Gordon/Rivera with 2-3 run
lead, were done anyway. Our middle relief has killed us all year, and
if we see it again this series, were done.

the matchup tomorrow. Chacon's already pitched well against them this
year (His 1st start w/Yanks) and Washburn's hittable. Plus were home. 
I still think we win this series. Despite Randy Johnson.

Lackey just pitched Game 2 (Yankee loss) on wednesday, so he's going on
3 days rest. No biggie though, they just need 5 innings from him then
they hand it to the bullpen. Could work out good if they burn out their
bullpen tonite and shields and/or escobar aren't available for game 5.
But of course, there might not be a game 5.

Caaught this game at 3-2 in the 8th and immediatly knew Chacon was solid unlike douche johnson.  I feel great about the next game. whenever it is, cause we smack whats his face around real good every so often.  Moose needs to pretend its 2001 and th west coast again, if he fails i want his rectum removed.

Jesus, ease up!  Cano's lucky he didn't get a ball right between the shoulders running like that.  The replay shows the only reason it went wild was because they were trying to not hit him on the throw.  They shoulda ignored that instinct and just drilled in the back of the head to hush yo' mouf.And stop saying the umps "inserted themselves into the game."  I HATE that saying.  The umps ARE in the game.

I think the Angels are fucked now. K-Rod looked
shaky, Escobar will not be able to pitch for a few days, Colon might be
gone for good, and they have to start either a tired midget who warmed
up tonight (Byrd) or a sick Washburn, and whoever starts game 2 might
be going on short rest also. Molina's elbow injury could KILL them
against the Sox with the way they run.But then again, remember the last time we thought they were fucked?

I'm resigned to rooting for all the ex-Yankees (Except Contreres and
Juan Rivera) left in the post season. God knows there's enough of them
out there. El Duque was and is one of my all time favorites, so
I'll root for the White Sox. Even though if you end up losing to the
eventual World series winner (like we did in 2002) its some small
consolation. But fuck that, I want the Angels to feel the crushing pain
Yankeeland feels today.  In the NL, I'm rooting for the Astros. Petitte and Clemens. Even though I dont think they can hit enough to win.

I'll make this brief.  I found out the Yankees lost when I saw the ANgel - Sox highlights after game 1.  I dont know what the score ws, what happened, if it was dramatic, if someone fucked up etc.  All I want is for some yankee fan to tell me if this was A-Rods fault.  if it wasnt him, then who was it, thats all I want to know.

A Rod had a bad series. Sheffield had a bad one too. Unit wet the bed in his start, then pitched great in game 5 in relief. Mussina pitched great in his first start, and lousy in Game 5Cano had key hits and key errors Jeter had the cape on, as usual. But
I thought the key to the series was Matsui (who's usually so clutch)
left a small villiage on the bases, many in scoring position.
